About Inscryption
Build a deck of twisted woodland creature cards and face off against a mysterious entity in this roguelike card battler wrapped around escape-room puzzles and creeping psychological horror. Inscryption blends strategic deckbuilding with secrets that peel back layers of reality itself, creating a haunting experience that transcends typical card games.
From the creator of Pony Island and The Hex comes the latest mind-melting, self-destructing love letter to video games. Inscryption is an inky black card-based odyssey that blends the deckbuilding roguelike, escape-room style puzzles, and psychological horror into a blood-laced smoothie. Darker still are the secrets inscribed upon the cards...
In Inscryption you will...
- Acquire a deck of woodland creature cards by draft, surgery, and self mutilation
- Unlock the secrets lurking behind the walls of Leshy's cabin
- Embark on an unexpected and deeply disturbing odyssey

a game with an atmosphere so thick, you could choke on it.
i like how in act 1 you need to have all these op upgrades to beat the game, while in kayse's mod you have understood the game mechanics enough, to beat the game, not just without the upgrades, but with extra challanges aswell
Absolutely excellent, this game is a work of art. I fell in love with all of the characters, and will be back in a few years to play it again. Thank you for making this game.
