About One Way Road: Firehunt
The player will take control of a spaceship as the captain of Space Fleet Command, James Dekker. Together with a team of recruits, on a battle-worn ship, you will look into the most remote corners of the galaxy, engage in fierce space combat, fight with entire fleets, and protect not only the Earth but all of humanity.
A captivating storyline.Experience a world where moral dilemmas can turn friends and allies into enemies, and utterly devastate worlds. Discover what it means to be in charge of your team from the perspective of a hardened and sometimes cynical war veteran. Progression system.
As you travel, you will earn Experience points that can be used to upgrade your ship's systems and install new equipment. It is up to you to adjust your ship to suit your style of play or to adapt yourself and master your chosen battle tactics.
Explore the galaxy's far reaches.
Engage in space combat and battle on planet surfaces. Drive a spaceship through dense asteroid fields, chase down a hurling comet, or explore a gigantic space station that's full of dark labyrinths.
Gameplay mechanics intertwined.
The game is blending several action mechanics in order to create an action packed space story.
- The Scroll Shooter mode allows you to control a Starfleet heavy cruiser that is powerful enough to take out entire fleets.
- The Top-down Shooter mode puts you in control of a small, nimble space-fighter jet.
- The Tube Shooter mode enables you to chase the enemy, destroying everything that stands in your way.

This is misleading, a shady way to market a for-profit product, and misleading gamers for profit is wrong. The product this is advertising,[i]One Way Road[/i] is more shovelware from the Russian review manipulators at Valkyrie Initiative... this time a Unity kitbash of three different arcade shooters with a very mediocre backpinning narrative, paid reviews, and AI slop marketing.... But this isn't One Way Road, it's just an ad for it. If you really like adverts, you can get them for free on Youtube, in your browser... heck even online streaming video subscriptions have ads now. Why download and install another advertisement? This is an advertisement for a product that doesn't even exist yet. The "developer" gave up or just plain didn't bother finishin…1 found this helpful
На данный момент -- от "средне" до "плохо". Что хорошо -- собственно, ключевая механика боёв из 2Д-скроллера. Расстреливать врагов и сбивать корветы вполне увлекательно. Крейсера с уникальной механикой защиты в виде боссов тоже порадовали. Что плохо... По ключевой механике. Визуальные эффекты. Размытие при выстреле из главного калибра, тряска -- сбивает восприятие картинки боя. При этом тряска в настройках установлена на минимум. Короткие миссии. Прямо слишком короткие отрезки -- на заставку и перелёт между отрезками во второй части тратится чуть ли не больше времени, чем на сам бой. Я так и не понял, зачем нужны бластерные турели. Флак позволяет и отбиваться от роя истребителей, и повреждать корветы, в то время как нет возможности увести корабль от роя, расстреливая его и корветы с дистанции. Собственно, рой будет с нами постоянно, ракетного залпа на него не хватает, поэтому смысла переключать вооружение с флака просто нет. По визуалу. Плохая и деревянная анимация и картинка в заставках. Кинематографичность хороша только тогда, когда ей пользуются умело. Здесь ей пользуются неумело. Модели для задников, которые прямо заполняют поле обзора переднего плана, радуют ещё меньше…1 found this helpful
The demo looks really promising, took me about 25 tries to finally beat the bonus mission, very hard. Kind of hope the final version has an easy mode lol. Im definitely going to be buying the full version1 found this helpful
Free but not fun. Not even clear that anything is being done to develop a full game.
