In the game you will take over the role of the intergalactic adventurer and war hero Keith T. Maxwell. [h1] Decent space sim, despite being ported from mobile devices gameplay is simple but solid. Explore star systems and engage in space battles. Maps are not the biggest but combat is exciting. Progressive upgrade system, complete missions to get dough and unlock new gear. Exchange spaceships for better ones. You can choose either mining rig or combat equipment. This is my childhood game, so it's a great addition to my library. Unfortunately, the Valkyrie & Supernova extension isn't here so it makes me sad.3 found this helpful
I knew this game was dated when I bought it. That is not the problem. The problem is gameplay in general. The controls are floaty and the UI is not explained. How do you lock onto something? Not sure. No button to press. No button to toggle targets. I bought the gear and couldn't tractor in anything. I took a mission and kept dying before I could get to the right spot in early game. Mining is an arbitrary mini game. Very annoying for a gameplay style I normally enjoy. I gave it 3 hours. A lot of that was searching the internet as to how I do stuff the game didn't explain.
