Damn, this game is really good The story is rather sad but the visuals, holy sh.it Whole game is a piece of art I definitely recommend playing it, it's free 9/10

intensely psychedelic disturbing game, it's short, you should check it out!

There's jank, sure, there are some UX problems, like having too many text boxes to read at once, or using the same areas for passive and active dialogue. I think some of the art borders on the goofy, taking away from the seriousness. However, this game has an incredibly strong vision. I don't think I've played something tackles themes in the way this does, the personal and the politicial. Vibrant, surreal visuals evoke the extreme and existential horror from living through an event like this. It's not in perfectly balanced colour, it's big, powerful, in-your-face, disorientating, devastating.

This is where I wish I could put a neutral recommendation into this. I think the visuals are fantastic, as with all of Gechtman’s games, but outside of this the game is far less digestible. Probably ironic considering Promesa and Cucchi, but OMUI was a whole different story. I didn’t feel as though there was a strong narrative and was pretty all over the place. You leave your room after examining all items possible, which provide commentary on your own life (or rather, Ghobadi’s), and then you can explore the house. I found the backstories of each family member to be interesting and quite enjoyable to read about. But this game attempts, at least to my perception, to accomplish multiple narratives at once, at the cost of a single, consistent story. It speaks of Ghobadi’s family, tells a story detailing the difficulty with suicidal ideations, separates histories and merges them, national and familial pride, and makes a bold statement on the horror that is the American industrial-military complex. But it didn’t make a captivating story for any of these, but rather a hodgepodge of these topics and then left me in a rather confused state by the end of the game. It doesn’t feel finished…

it was a good game, only bad thing was the fact that it kept crashing with bad lag spikes. It isn't a hardware problem because I can run 300 fps in most games.

This is quite an insane game, more of a family tribute actually, than an actual game. Yet, I did enjoy it; it's a chaotic piece of work in its very unique way.
