About Oscura: Lost Light
Oscura, the apprentice lighthouse keeper, has accidentally destroyed the Aurora Stone, sending shards across the Driftlands and plunging them into darkness and danger. It’s now up to Oscura to find the shards of the stone and restore light to the Driftlands before the creatures of the dark can destroy it. Fortunately, the accident has fused Oscura’s hand with glowing fire, enabling him to wield powers altering anything the light touches. Each level challenges your puzzle-solving skills and reactions in this modern adventure built upon the time-honoured mechanics of classic platformers.
Master the Light: Along your dark journey you’ll find four different powers, each designed to help you through the Driftlands. Destruction, Construction, Gravity and Time are yours to command. Master each unique light power in your dark journey through the Driftlands.
Discover the origin of our accidental hero: Oscura wasn’t always the Driftland’s trusty lighthouse keeper. And he didn’t always have his flaming hand. Taking place before the previous Oscura games, Lost Light reveals where our hero’s journey began and the fate of the original light house keeper.

I mean, it's not a bad game. It's alright. It's a bit uninspiring, but it's alright. I don't regret playing this game and I had fun. The biggest problem is that there are so many other games which are better. But if you're looking for a short and pretty easy 2D platformer then you could pick it up
Oscura: Lost Light is a decent Limbo-inspired puzzle platformer that's worth picking up on sale if you enjoy the genre. The four-gem mechanic — swapping between gravity reversal, slow-motion, wall-breaking, and platform-conjuring — keeps things interesting, and the silhouetted art style is genuinely striking. Checkpoints are generous for most of the game, which keeps frustration low, though the final level throws that balance out the window with brutal checkpoint spacing. I finished it in about 3-4 hours and had fun throughout, but it left no lasting impression — the levels blur together and the story is forgettable. If you can grab it in a bundle or at a steep discount, it's a solid weekend platformer; at full price, there are better options in the genre.

utterly forgettable, and seemingly janky. riding on the coattails of Limbo. of all the indie platformers that exist, there are better ones.
Generic and uninspired short platform game. It's mostly easy, except if maybe you want to complete the orbs, time and deaths challenges on each level. The four powers mechanic may seem to hold some potential, but it gets kind of boring quickly. I completed it and had some fun, but it can totally be ignored.
looks like an easy game to play once and knock out a few achievements, but the game is so painfully bad that its difficult to give it more than an hour of play time.
