Short game, definitely worth a buy. It's largely a pretty chill game with a few bursts of "Ruuuunnnn, run little guy!" I enjoyed the art and the backgrounds a lot, I enjoyed the critters and the music. My main gripe came in the javelin. It really feels like a few areas it was made inaccurate. When going up the elevator, for instance, I was able to hit everything without a problem until ONE area where I just kept throwing and missing somehow even when standing RIGHT next to it before getting killed. There were a few other times where I was literally standing right under something, the aim line showed where it would go - and it missed. Like the only way to miss was intentional for some of them. Speaking in the line of inaccuracies: The chains. I could stand next to the chain and keep hitting X button to attach and it just WOULD not. It would do the animation and then not attach. THAT was actually frustrating. That said, overall: It was fun. I kept asking why my friend wouldn't just carry me or help me, or at least give me their cooler javelin, but overall it wasn't super needed. There isn't much else really to complain about, it was overall a very enjoyable little romp. For $8 I'd…

Out of Line is a 2D Puzzle Platformer about a creature that finds itself awoken in a world and is lost looking for a way back, meeting different allies on the way to help on its journey. The game offers multiple stages full of puzzles and platforming sections for you to solve, your main ability is a spear that you can throw around activating gears, buttons and even use it to a wall to jump even higher distances. The game was short and simple with tight controls and mechanisms that were fun to use, difficulty slightly picks up at later stages in the game but nothing that cannot be handled, you will meet enemies and allies who will provide support along the way to overcome some of these puzzles. OST and music were calming to match the vibe of the game. The game consists mostly of chase and escape sequences plus the final boss of the game, after all it's a puzzle platformer genre. It's highly recommended for those who love puzzle platformers and it was quite fun finishing and traversing as well. Overall Rating 9/10

I enjoyed this game. Plays well on Steam Deck.

Puzzles are nice. Had a bit of struggle with activating rope thingies. Sometimes they needed few clicks and running around to work.

The robots all have really great designs and the environments have a great blend of ancient and yet futuristic. The gameplay is fun and your staff feels good to control. The game finds lots of ways to use it for puzzles too! I have a lot of theories about the story and I like it when a game leaves it up to player interpretation!

Definitely a fun little puzzle platformer, that does just enough variety with it's simple mechanics to keep it engaging for the couple hours it'll take to complete it. Art style is gorgeous, the characters and creatures are cute, the soundtrack/ambience to the game is good. If you like this type of game, it's def a nice little playthrough. Only wish there was a chapter select to go back and easily get the collectibles that I missed, but considering the play time it's not a huge ask to have to play the game again to get them all.
