I was given a copy of Overseer to stream by the publisher with the promise that I would give it a review after I played. This is my first review that I've done because I was asked personally and not because I felt like it but I wanted to give it a thorough examination. Overall, my experience was very positive. Here's what I loved: * It has a really cool pixel art style for the characters and enemies, as well as any attacks. * Right away it recognized that I had a controller plugged in, and gave me an option to change to it. Not many games have that awareness and it is appreciated SO MUCH. * There are currently two characters and they have very different feels and mechanics. The warrior is encouraged to be 'in your face' with his skill set. He does have a long range attack (which is mostly what I used) and has great attack scaling options that make him a glass cannon. The Wizard is the current ranger and his main attacks are much weaker but his aoe is DEVASTATING. There is a third character, the archer, in development currently, as well as spaces in the tavern for six additional characters yet to be revealed. * The button layout is simple and intuitive. Your main attacks are on…3 found this helpful

Me and my friends tried this yesterday. It was recommended to us by a common friend. Coming from playing FPS (First Person Shooting) - this game gives me nostalgia and feeling the old school vibes with the like of Legend of Zelda. This game is easy to get used to. Controls are easy. Game is kind of addicting and challenging. It offers three difficulty levels. You need to open runes and kills monsters. You also need to avoid traps. Healing fountains are available.I haven't finished a dungeon yet but I will play it more in the weekend. Game feels classic but fresh at the same time!1 found this helpful
