About Underworld Dungeon
Underworld Dungeon is a rogue-like action-adventure, in which you explore a ruined Greek dungeon hidden within the depths of the Underworld. As you dig deeper, ancient weapons and armor will be uncovered which you can combine to create more powerful gear. You will need all the items you can scavenge and craft to conquer this challenging dungeon; a dungeon that masks unspeakable horrors, mythical secrets and finally, the promise of a lost soul, which awaits you at the end of it all.
Inspired by games such as The Binding of Isaac, Dark Souls and Terraria, Underworld Dungeon aims to create a dark, procedurally generated world filled with item crafting, dungeon looting, many secrets and items to discover, as well as a challenging combat system which would require the player to use their wits and skills to confront each enemy and situation.
The dungeon is randomly generated at the start of each run, with biomes, objects, enemies and rooms being different, providing a fresh and challenging experience each time. Items and resources are also randomly generated, allowing you to have a different build each run. On one run, you could be a warrior with a shield and a flaming axe, whilst on another, you could be a hunter with teleportation and a throwable spear.

Gameplay:
Combat in Underworld Dungeon will be challenging. You must use different weapons and abilities along with your own wits and skills to confront each room of enemies. - Stamina - Every action uses a varying amount of stamina such as swinging a sword or dashing. This means that you must use your stamina wisely and consider each action carefully to avoid being temporarily stunned with a depleted stamina bar.
- Shield - Bringing your shield up will halt your stamina bar from recharging and slow you down. However, it will also block incoming damage from enemies with varying strengths. (ie. Iron Shield blocks 75% damage while a Wooden Shield blocks 65%)
- Dash - Dashing allows you to rapidly move away from an enemy's attack but does not grant you invincibility. Thus, you must use it carefully as it takes away quite a lot of your stamina and leaves you vulnerable to an enemy afterwards.

Игра "Underworld Dungeon" - это увлекательный рогалик с пиксельной графикой, который сразу цепляет своей хардкорностью и разнообразием. Каждый забег уникален благодаря процедурно генерируемым уровням и случайным предметам. Порадовала глубокая система крафта и широкие возможности для развития персонажа. Бои требуют тактического подхода, нужно постоянно адаптироваться к новым врагам и окружению. Сначала игра кажется сложной и даже несправедливой, но после нескольких смертей начинаешь понимать механику и находить новые стратегии. Умирать придётся часто, но это только подстегивает к дальнейшему исследованию подземелий. Несмотря на пиксельную графику, игра выглядит стильно и атмосферно. Музыкальное сопровождение отлично дополняет мрачную атмосферу подземелья. Из минусов можно отметить некоторую однообразность окружения и иногда несбалансированных врагов. Но в целом, "Underworld Dungeon" - это отличный выбор для любителей рогаликов, готовых к сложным испытаниям и увлекательному геймплею. Рекомендую!
"Underworld Dungeon" is an extremely badly made procgen disaster, a top down brawler/RPG-extra-lite with godawfully crap graphics and worse gameplay. This features really godawful pixelcrap "art" instead of real graphics. It's hard to say if this was because the developer didn't have the skill to do the job of creating 3D visuals, or couldn't afford to hire someone who does, but it also doesn't matter. What matters is that this looks much worse than most other games because of that decision, and that's a major deterrent to gamers. Games like Terraria and Stardew Valley succeeded [i]despite[/i] the bad graphics, not because of them. The developer chose not to do the job of a real game developer and create meaningful bespoke levels, narrative based gameplay progression and so on. Instead, they decided that "Procgen IS content!" and lazily tried to use procgen algorithms to create infinite, samey, repetitive, soulless levels, because that's a lot less work. Now, to elaborate as far as it goes for this particular procgen crapfest, usually when developers phone in their job and use procgen, they at least arrange the procgen copy + paste garbage such that playable levels are the r…

The enemies attack is difficult to predict, some enemies (like bat) doesn't have attacking animation, which caused the difficulty to dodge its attack and calculating distance. The inventory's control is terrible, you will have to drags items one by one if you want to equips them or to crafts them, and the vaild area of slot is tricky, it is frustrating to keep trying to drag a single item into a slot because it will failed and returns to the orignal place again and again. Despite the achievement's amount is few, it is not easy to getting them because of the problem being lists above- not to mention that these problem is not fun to conquer with.
Its a good concept but it needs a lot of bug fixing some quality of life improvements and a balance to the difficutly but overall very fun.
