The Plot
When a ripple of unknown origin unleashes beings of Hell upon modern-day Earth, the only ones who can stop their reign is a team of valiant heroes...
Unfortunately, this story isn't about that.
A group of young adults, gifted with elemental powers by the anomaly, are forced to go to battle with these unknown forces. Sooner than later, they come to find out that they're a lot more connected to the unfolding chaos than it seems... Battle enemies in this post-apocalyptic RPG to unlock new spells and attacks.
Work together to tighten each other's bonds in the friendship system to create sync attacks, combing two-party members' abilities to make one devastating attack! Watch as this Gang of numbnuts fights unholy creatures, meet shady merchants, and strengthen their own bonds as friends in this intense Paradigm Shift!

"Paradigm Shift" is a badly made RPG Maker asset flip (with a few custom assets from the "developer", we can tell these are custom because they're crap) and the usual high school anime club dropout fanfiction cringefest writing. Of note is that the developer is one of the very rare few that worked out how to use one of the RPG Maker MZ 3D modes... which is just as bad as the 2D retro pixelcrap modes. It's also abandoned Early Access, the developer hasn't touched this for about half a year, and it's been in development hell for over 3 years. This is never getting finished, and player counts show nobody wants it to be anyway. This has some really mediocre looking graphics that will understandably be a turn off for a lot of gamers, and it's a big contributor to the failure of the game to attract gamers despite having no up-front cost. Gaming is a primarly visual medium, and if developers want to succeed, they must understand that it's not an area for compromise. You deserve better than compromises. Insultingly, the developer insists that you should play this with a console peasant children's toy gamepad instead of KB+M. Игра Paradigm Shift – это глоток свежего воздуха в жанре point-and-click адвенчур. Сюжет, абсурдный и при этом удивительно захватывающий, рассказывает историю мутировавшего лентяя-мутанта, пытающегося стать самым крутым музыкантом в постапокалиптическом мире. Юмор черный, порой граничащий с безумием, но при этом всегда к месту и никогда не становится навязчивым. Графика, выполненная в уникальном стиле кислотного киберпанка, сразу же привлекает внимание. Персонажи харизматичные, диалоги проработанные, головоломки, хоть и непростые, всегда логичны (в рамках вселенной, конечно). Игра обладает высоким уровнем реиграбельности – множество диалоговых веток и секретов вынуждают исследовать мир вдоль и поперек. Единственный минус - иногда встречается некоторая "пиксельхантинг", но это незначительный недостаток, который с лихвой компенсируется достоинствами игры. Рекомендую всем, кто любит необычные и запоминающиеся приключения. Однозначно 9/10.
