About Philana and the Elixir of Life
Philana and Lily have lived together peacefully in the mountains ever since Philana saved Lily's life. One day, she returns home to find Lily collapsed on the floor. Scattered around are rare and exotic ingredients, theoretical papers on synthesizing an Elixir, and other alchemy-related artifacts.
Surprised, Philana asks Lily what she's been doing, and Lily reveals that she's been battling an illness that can only be cured with the help of an Elixir. Unable to continue her search for the remaining ingredients, Philana offers to find them herself.
After Lily reluctantly accepts her offer, Philana sets out for a nearby town, intending to use it as a base of operations from which she can gather information on the remaining ingredients.
Will Philana be able to find what Lily needs? And what's with the mysterious group that's seeking the same items?
It's up to you to find out!
In this traditional turn-based RPG, you'll make your way through a variety of locations where the ingredients you seek can be found.
Level up and learn new skills to topple enemies. Philana is quite the adept sorcerer, and the skills she'll learn on her journey pack quite the punch.
Depending on the amount of times you're defeated, you'll get a different ending. Try to find them all!
Exploration-Filled RPG
Navigate the wide-open areas around town. Each zone is unique and features a multitude of enemies to fight.
Exciting Quests
The town's citizens live peaceful lives, but that doesn't change the fact that they need help. There are several side tasks you can complete, all of which will net you various rewards!
Deep and Enriching Story
There's more than meets the eye to Philana, Lily, and their respective families. They both have complex pasts, and it's up to you to uncover them!

I enjoyed this game. Plot is standard, so is the gameplay, but the goods is something else entirely. Talk about dumping all the stat allocation points into 'The Goods'. Usually, the character says one or two stock lines during their 'handholding', but there's another layer on top of that if you keep going.1 found this helpful
It's an okay game, nothing too special, the art is good most of the times, the gameplay could've been much better, basically you can escape whenever you want (exception for boss fights) and you need to grind a lot for gear. On a sale sure try it and use a save editor online, add some money and don't grind (200K should be enough). Other than that it's an okay game with a cute but so boringly dumb main character.
I had a hard time trying to figure out whether or not to recommend this game. It's a pretty simple JRPG that isn't terribly hard, but at least there's something there. For some scenes there is a sort of progressive corruption, however mild, as even from the start the scenes tend to go all the way. There's battle sex but after what's basically two failed grapples, those scenes go all the way. Surprisingly though, those battle scenes do show some amount of corruption if you continue to fail. But every interaction with an NPC or monster is completely standalone and independent of scenes with any other characters. The art isn't bad. I'd say that it's reasonable to consider purchasing this during a good sale, provided you're fine with getting a game that is pretty mid.
