Pixel Game Maker Series ISEKAI QUARTET Adventure Action Game

now don't get me wrong i love all of the characters in isekai quartet and have watched all the shows and read most of their mangas i love supporting them but good god this game is horrific it drops to like 2 frames every time its in game achievement threshold is hit and just isn't fun at all god i want Albedo to beat me to death. if you want to waste $15 that's on you bud i got to level 6 in about 50 minutes

For those who are a fan of Isekai themed animes/manga will surely heard of or watched the anime "Isekai Quartet". This game here had the opportunity to use its name to create a very very simple platformer while in the meantime act as an example sample of the game maker series. But, to be honest, they've blown it. For the Isekai fans, this game has limited character choice and not all characters act as their original in the anime. So some fans might get offended. This game didn't really do a good job to represent the title that's bestowed upon them. A big waste of good opportunity imo. In short, this game is super bare bone and boring. And for a fan service based game, this game made others huge mistakes with 1) No Achievements 2) No Point Shop items 3) No Trading Cards Collection. This tell us how "lazy" the development of this game is. For the Game maker series itself, this is just the bare bones of what the maker can do. It doesn't really show the potential of the engine. Making this game looks even less than an amateur doujin work. And yeah... a big fail as an attempt to promote the engine. Not to mention that this game start without a full screen, and the players need to hit …

Best game ever if you are a loyal servant of Israel like me and my fellow IDF (Israel Defencce Force) soldiers like myself. It was an excellent design choice to have the same song play throughout every level in every world. Truly the greatest adaptation of such great IPs from Isekai Quartet in a platform format, masterful gambit sir! Character selection is perfect with such memorable faces such as Emila, Megumin, Albedo, Tanya, and some other girl. Writing is wonderful and rivals that of Nasu with its level of birlliance. Truly brave of the developers to force you to use a controller, I compare this choice to having a master chef using his expertise to prepare a meal rather than going to a all-you-can eat buffet.

It's okay. Not the best game, not the absolute worst game. It would've benefited from achievements and voice acting even just a sound when taking damage instead of basic effects. Will probably rebuy when it's on sale but I do recommend it for a cheaper price.
