About Planetes
In Planetes your aim is to survive, create and explore.You will need to harvest resources, in order to construct bases, spacecraft, and items. Protect yourself from other players by creating better spacecraft or a stronger base. Explore space, finding asteroids and planets to land on.
If you travel through space you can find planets with simulated gravity and atmosphere. You can land on these planets, or crash land if your ship is not powerful enough. When you arrive you can find resources to harvest and area to build bases.
Before you can travel through space you will need to build a ship. If you don't like building in games, you won't have to do much to have a functional spacecraft. If you do like building, you will find a building system with 6 categories of spaceship components each with many different and unique parts offering many options for you to build your ship with.Other players are dangerous, but you can also create alliances with them.

Its been 3-4 years since the last update, this game is seemingly completely abandoned by the devs and its a shame too, this game is interesting abit with the limited content it has, but the most basic of building blocks are there for a game that could have been interesting and unique. Could, and yet its been left dead and untouched for so long, there really isn't a point buying this and it certainly isn't worth the 7£ shame. but not much can be done, not like this would just become public software for people to mod and improve anyways4 found this helpful
Bought this some time ago, Its a dead game with no new updates in years. Please do not buy, you might as well burn your money.
PRETTY GOOD needs some work alot of work but is kinda fun

NOPE! Hard pass everyone, im going to hide the from my list to get the taste out of my mouth faster. First if it wasn't looking like another abandon heap at this point make issues exist; -wonky controls/ and inconsistent scheme when going from walk to jets -Even for EA style there is almost no parts to work with eg no 1x1 panel and girder only restricting build potentials greatly -Bad tutorial if you can call a side window to click through that skips 90% of what you'd expect to get going. like what key swaps tank and normal walk modes -like 6 resources for all builds seemed a nice change from single item craft $ or energy type building but lame -no detail on weapon and many other bits -numerous better ship build and fight style games out there, some of them still free like Cosmoteer via dev site Key this is a dead game and if not the devs have forgotten to care and update, even seeing where it may go leave too much to be desired. Even when i got this as a fill in for better space games to get some time and polish like Zero Falls. The discussion page is half wonder about if alive even or poor controls queries. no just no.
