Bad interface and user experience: * Switching building type requires 3 clicks as pressing ESC drops multiple menus up * Demolishing does not return resources, found only way is to slowly destroy it with laser * No stack splinting, or its unclear how to activate it * Shortcuts for item movement do not work in crafting stations * buggy targeting, sometimes laser points at cursor, sometimes its offset * 'Press E to exit pod' in front of screen obscuring view

There's a long road ahead of the dev, at this point many QOL features are not implemented + general jank and straight out bugs make this game not fun to play. I'm not returning it, hoping to see some meaningful progress within few months. At this point though it's not recommended

It's buggy buys it's good

Seems fun so far! I'm too stupid to pilot a ship tho. Codex says 'talk to the ship computer and select pilot' and there's no piot option I guess? : ( Eh, I found it - it wasn't super clear there were objectives to do. There are a lot, and I mean a LOT of bugs. And things that make no sense. You can get infinite xp from buying and selling literally anything that costs 1 credit? a single gold ore sells for 9 credits, but one of your level up rewards is ... 6 credits? huh?! why would money even be a level up reward? If you leave it on, there's a huge memory leak and it crashes. The dev has space pirating as an 'option' but the whole game is built around shooting and you won't see anything but neutrals and friendlies and there's literally ZERO progression around mining/processing - just Call of Duty style weapons (pistol! shotgun! Assault rifle! We're in space!) along with all the combo killstreak stuff. You have two 'paths' for your 'research' - "aggressive" research are the typical 'go kill x' or 'go blow up x' easy things you can do in 5 minutes, and 'passive' is mind numbingly boring ♥♥♥♥ like 'fly your pod in a straight line for 10 minutes straight' or literally 'let an …

It's easy to sink a bunch of hours into this exploring and unlocking new stations. You'll be unlocking new parts for the ship, blowing them up and pirating others. Also a ship building mode is available to fully customize a ship to your liking.

I see this one has been in dev for quite a while but supporting 4k resolution, at least poorly, is a fairly reasonable technical floor anymore
