About Prophan Escape
INFORMATION ABOUT THE GAME:
DESCRIPTION:
"Prophan Escape" is a game that combines horror with an absurd sense of humor.
Imagine the typical game about "The Backrooms", and now imagine that, with the same horror aura, but full of shitpost... That is Prophan Escape.
GAMEPLAY:
In "Prophan Escape," your objective is to collect five copper statues scattered throughout a labyrinth to complete each level. It's that simple... Well, there are also two anthropomorphic, peculiar cubes with realistic limbs that are out to get you. So, you'll need to avoid these strange characters. After completing each level, you will receive a "tartortilla," a peculiar food item that reveals a piece of the game's lore.
PLOT:
"You have just awoken in a strange place that looks like a labyrinth but you have no idea of how you got there. The only thing you know is that you must find your way out, and quickly."
FEATURES
-Immersive 90s VHS atmosphere.
-Simple mechanics.
-Approximately 2 hours of gameplay.
-A thrilling lore behind the game.
-5 levels (including a tutorial).
-Tense horror gameplay.
-Challenging labyrinths.
-Silly comedy and humor.
-And also sexy legs.

"Prophan Escape" is one of those games that's just so bad it's unclear if this is a joke or if someone really tried as hard as they could to make a game and this was all they could come up with. Either way, the resultant product isn't something you'd want in your library. This one is just a basic "horror adventure" where you just run around being chased by monsters in first person perspective. You have to find some "coper" statues? I think the developer meant "copper", but that really sums up the quality of this dumpster fire. This has some really mediocre looking graphics that will understandably be a turn off for a lot of gamers, and it's a big contributor to the failure of the game to attract gamers despite having no up-front cost. Gaming is a primarly visual medium, and if developers want to succeed, they must understand that it's not an area for compromise. You deserve better than compromises. Not every "free" game really is. There's often MTX, or content locked behind DLC, or donations being requested, or any other number of things that could mislead gamers, but in this case I'm glad to say this really does appear to be a fully free game. whatever the ♥♥♥♥ that was I never want to experience it ever again.
not quite sure what i just witnessed but its something to say the least
Love it
10/10 i prophaned so hard to this
Fun little passion project with a simple mechanic. It's like a possible Slenderman game with some funny monsters that chase you. The Hedge Maze was the hardest level for me. There's even a boss fight!
