This game plays very well, I love the art style. The game modes are pretty good too. I like the character customization I was able to make aaron judge, i feel like a kid again
Captured the feel of 97. Loved the commentary. Love the power hit mystery box. If your a baseball fan this one is for you! Some how feels challenging maybe I need to GIT GUD.

Love backyard baseball, but this current version of it leans too heavily on batting and leaves fielding behind. Not to mention the computer players will hit everything you pitch. Homeruns on a low and outside ball? Easy. Might put playing on pause until it is properly balanced.
After waiting many years for this game, it is beyond disappointing to get a product that is half baked like this. I'd forgive it if it was $10-$20 or it was an early play test like the demo, but to charge $40 for something with the amount of hit or miss AI, wonky baserunning that you'll get called out from 10 feet away or the ball isn't in the glove, and terrible character selection to make plays in the field is ridiculous. That being said there are *some* positives, seeing base runner's stamina, being able to use your keyboard to control your player to make more precise plays (when it picks the right fielder), the crazy pitch/hit wheel is pretty cool, the new pitching system is fun, and overall it's a pretty game. Here's to hoping that they fix some of these problems, but until then I don't recommend this game.
