Protostar Twilight

It's a short but entertaining romp with our Tempus and Vanguard boys into a game written and made by the fans themselves. The story is good enough; we get to fight a shadow version of someone close to us, and the interactions between the boys is how I'd imagine them to be, from aniki's wild antics to the old man's intelligent quips. Bettel, I seriously apologize for getting you killed every mission. If I have any complaints, it's that the modern day cursing (f-word, s-word etc.) takes me out of the element since we are playing the lore counterparts of the boys and not their streaming counterparts, but that's just me. It's also a bit short, but again, a minor complaint against a game that was released for free. Looking forward to Protostar Twilight 2 featuring the Armis boys so I can finally play as the Poppetmaster. (Vesper, you are still my kamioshi.)

This is a fairly short game (2-3 hours), but it's full of fun little references and cute dialogue between the boys. The art is lovely and I loved the voice lines that were chosen for their crit hits. Even though it's a fan game, I think people who are not familiar with HoloStars EN can still enjoy the game. I hope to see more great stuff from the devs!

I'm not really familiar with the Holostar talents, but i liked a lot how much each character has their own very unique personality, voice and gameplay. Solid gameplay, music and story. I'm just not sure how much is based on previously established vtubers lore that i've surely missed.
