This game is perfect for the casual gamer with over 20 vibe/chillax songs or 20 heavily fantasy inspired music. Just copy of Hearthstone made by one person. Needs a lot of work to do to be great and I cannot foresee that happening.2 found this helpful
3/10 A CCG battler like Hearthstone. Good: - there is card combat, with some abilities and many different cards - hotsteat multiplayer mode - free So-so: - music is nice but gets repetitive - shaky English - there are instructions how to play but they go as a series of dialogs with text, not interactive. Though if you've played Hearthstone, you will find the gameplay familiar - cards can attack the enemy hero when there are enemy creatures present on the board. Not sure that's intended or a bug - most of the card images seem like stubs taken from another game or from Unity Asset store. Card backgrounds are just flat color fills Bad: - no sound effects at all. Because of this it's not always clear what the opponent has done this turn - cards are too small and the text on them is hard to read unless you hover your mouse over the card to see it at a larger scale. At the same time, a lot of screen space is wasted. The mana indicator could be removed entirely (reduced to just a number), and this would allow making cards 25-30% bigger easily. - lacks originality. For example, one wouldn't be able to say why anyone would play this and not just Hearthstone. An indie game should have a r…1 found this helpful
Probably the best game ever made, Not biased of course.1 found this helpful
"ProtoStone" is a weird, failed attempt at making a MTG/Hearthstone ripoff, but the developer couldn't work out how to do online PvP and matchmaking properly, so uh... it's pretty much a game for nobody. What do you do in the game? Well, it's almost like a real CCG, but what you would expect if you ordered the cheapest one you could get from Temu. The graphics aren't great... that will understandably be a turn off for a lot of gamers, and it's a big contributor to the failure of the game to attract gamers despite having no up-front cost. Gaming is a primarily visual medium, and if developers want to succeed, they must understand that it's not an area for compromise. You deserve better than compromises. This is "free" enough, at least you won't be expected to spend any more money after you download this, but just because something is free doesn't mean it's good. Even though this is "free", it failed to appeal to the 120 million+ gamers on Steam. SteamDB showed the game peaked at only 2 concurrent players... this is a dismal public reception. This was so bad they couldn't even give it away. Bearing in mind that free games don't add +1 to your game collector count, should y…
not bad but it has to be improved
