MONSTER CARDS

So I like how the game encourages players to make their own cards and play with them, which is fun, cause the only limit players have is their imagination. Despite all the positives, the negative drags out every positivity the game has, and that being the DLC. Plus, a license makes sense, cause it lets players do stuff that F2P players can't, and it doesn't impact the gameplay, so it shouldn't matter, but putting card types as DLC is just not it. Putting cards in DLC makes no sense due to the fact that it can drastically affect the gameplay due to other types of cards having different abilities. Players who have made their own cards in early access are not able to use their own cards and are limited to using only 2 types despite the game having like 6 types; this seriously affected the player count and player satisfaction. Players expect to have equal availability in terms of gameplay. Having customization as DLC doesn't really affect the gameplay much, as all it does is make things a bit easier and cooler, but putting cards in DLC makes the gameplay incredibly hard for F2P users, as they are limited to using only 2 card types. MONSTER CARDS is a pretty unusual card game because I am not just building a deck from cards that already exist. I can actually create my own monsters, decide what they look like and then use those cards in battles. The basic idea is simple enough, but being able to draw the artwork myself gives the whole thing a much more personal feeling. I can make something that looks serious, something completely ridiculous or just throw together a monster that makes me laugh. The fact that the cards are saved as files also means I can keep and exchange the ones I make. The card creation is easily the part I find most interesting. Each card has actual gameplay values behind it, including rarity, attack power, skills, attributes and tribe, so drawing something silly does not mean it is only cosmetic. I have to think about what kind of card I want to create and how it will fit into my deck. That makes the creative side feel connected to the strategy instead of being a separate character creator that I forget about after five minutes. The battles themselves are fairly easy to understand.
