Cardygon is a pretty fun little card strategy game that I found surprisingly easy to get into. It brings together characters and ideas from the Batpolygon universe and turns them into a single player deckbuilding experience. The main idea is simple enough, but there is a decent amount of strategy underneath it once I started putting different cards together. I also liked that the game is completely free, so it is easy to give it a try without having to commit to anything. The best part for me is the card building. There are over 80 cards to collect, and the real fun comes from figuring out which cards work well together instead of simply picking the strongest ones. I enjoyed experimenting with different combinations and trying to build a deck that actually suited the way I wanted to play. Some battles can feel like little puzzles because the right combination of abilities can make a big difference. I also liked the variety of ways to play the battles. Classic Mode lets me use support cards while trying to eliminate the enemy characters, while Rapid Mode speeds things up by making the first player to eliminate three characters the winner.
