Very good small puzzle game!! quick smart and efficient Recruit one bring good old reliable mechanics, great UI and a dash of Nostalgic vibe. Enjoyable experience and good prelude to the upcoming game!

a short fun puzzle/stealth game, it only takes about 15-30 minutes to complete, and that's only if you mess up a bunch and have to start over like I did...

"Recruit One" is a very mediocre Sokoban-esque Adobe Flash tier pathing puzzle game (but made with the blight on gaming that is RPG Maker, the tool "so easy children can use it", which explains a lot about why RPG Maker kitbashes are all so awful). What do you do in the game? It's a basic pathing puzzle game, move around a grid and work out how to get to the exit. There's thankfully not that many levels, and when the best thing you can say about a game is that there's not much of it, then you know it's bad. So this looks like an old 1990's Adobe Flash game that you might play in a web browser, and the problem there is obviously Steam wasn't intended to try compete with Chrome and Firefox. If it can be done in a web browser, it's not even close to a cutting edge PC gaming experience. That's a problem. The game features really lacklustre 2D visuals (does the developer not know 3D graphics became mainstream in the mid-1990s?). Gamers don't spend thousands of dollars on gaming rigs and the latest 3D graphics cards to play 2D games. Even mobile phones and game consoles can do 3D graphics now. There's no excuse. Игра 'Recruit One' оказалась приятным сюрпризом. Простой, но затягивающий геймплей быстро увлекает. Процесс рекрутинга новых юнитов и развития базы невероятно аддиктивен, постоянно подталкивая к еще одной катке. Визуальный стиль минималистичен, но приятен глазу, интерфейс интуитивно понятен. Отдельно хочется отметить баланс, который позволяет экспериментировать с различными стратегиями и составами команды. Поначалу кажется, что игра слишком проста, но по мере продвижения сложность постепенно возрастает, требуя более продуманных решений и тактического мышления. Приятно, что есть возможность исследовать различные улучшения и открывать новых бойцов, что добавляет реиграбельности. Единственный минус - хотелось бы больше разнообразия в визуальном оформлении локаций, но это незначительный недостаток на фоне общего позитивного впечатления от игры. Определенно рекомендую к ознакомлению всем любителям казуальных стратегий с элементами менеджмента. Игра отлично подойдет для коротких игровых сессий и поможет скоротать время.
