Pros: - Nice combat animations - Satisfying chain attack + movement after attack make combat very fluid Cons: - Distorted character portrait in cutscene - Uninteresting story - Bland character upgrade: mostly increase attack/defense, optionally with a condition, e.g. when adjancent to ally, when not adjacent to ally - boring weapon system: durability, damage and hit are certainly "borrowed" from Fire Emblem, a character can only equip 1 weapon type. Most weapons are just tradeoff of damage and hit. Reparing weapon is a pain. I actually had to grind skirmishes a bit just to get enough money to fix weapons - lack of info: you can't check what an enemy does; for example, there's an enemy that attacks in AOE but you can't get that information from its details, there's an enemy that self-detonate which cannot be dodged even the game shows you a hit percentage - incorrect info: there's an ability that says "heal all allies", but it's actually a single target heal, and you can't heal NPC! - almost no chemistry between the characters, maybe except for the assassin and the swordman, the spearman is a total ♥♥♥♥ - bad map design: a lot of maps are just too big, what makes it worse is that s…

Being sort of new to the strategy game genre, Redemption Reapers is accessible enough without being too easy. The game is actually pretty brutal in the fact that when a misstep is made you usually are punished harshly. I purchased the game originally on the PS5 and enjoyed it enough to make a second purchase on the PC. Take that as you will, as I've seen mixed reviews online. I enjoy it even though strategy games are not my first genre of choice. The mouse and keyboard are night and day to using a controller. Not sure what that says about returning to console to finish my playthrough there. Overall, I'd give this game a solid 7.6/10 taking points away for the barebones tutorial.

21/100 who own it beat it. I'm one of them. Its a good game. Experienced no glitches in my one playthrough to completion. Good voice acting, but story is typical substanceless Japanese writing. Japanese fanboys will rejoice because... Japan. Replayability via NG+ and more - if you wanna. On to next in my queue. Recommended- even at $25; if you like TRPGs.

Fun little TRPG, Decent graphics, cool skills, and I like the strategy around follow up attacks and positioning. I personally found the voice acting be be quite solid, and the story interesting enough. I got the game on sale for around $20 and I am more than satisfied with the game at that price. It holds up well against other TRPG's like Capes, and Showgunners

i completed the game in normal mode. even though it does get repetitive towards the end, in terms of enemy types, reinforcements, i really liked the story and cutscenes. the game also forces you to think on your gold management and utilize the team as a whole. if there were more customization in terms of weapons / skills / characters, i think it will even better the dark fantasy theme and the game music was superb though.

There are so many clunky thing in the game which I can tolerate. The one that I can't... Is that when you go play a mission where you didn't grind enough you get one hit kill. That was acceptable, what is unacceptable is that there isn't a button of "go back to the camp" when you found out you're out level and this is ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ because the "Next mission" doesn't tell level of enemies, the map or objective, you literally go in blind. If you are going to tell me that's because I chose "Normal" difficulty and not "Easy" which is probably for streamer, then I guess this game is made for Streamer and not anyone else. This game looks and feel like late PS2 game or Early PS3 game but lack of polish and proper play test to show how broken the game is. So you have to go load the game of the previous save(you can't press continue cause that will put you back in the game that you lost)
