Remnant: From the Ashes

all my homies hate Ixillis

My favorite part is when the final boss said "I am Remnant." And the protagonists said "And we are from the ashes." and then he blew up.

First I'm going to talk about the only 2 good things about this game. 1. Story: It's a genuinely intriguing story, although the game itself does a rather poor job at conveying it with the few NPCs you can talk to, instead you learn most of what is going on from log entries and papers scattered around the world. 2. Graphics and optimization: The game looks genuinely very impressive even for today's standards. No RT, no upscaling, raw raster, can comfortably stay above 200fps throughout its entirety at 4K max settings. I rarely saw it going above 8GB of VRAM despite having surprisingly high quality textures, might be one of the best looking UE4 games out there. It also seems like you can run this game on just about anything on low settings too, saw a review that had a GPU with 1GB of VRAM running it, that's impressive. Now onto the bad, and there is A LOT. For starters, the devs themselves said they drew inspiration from Dark Souls, Monster Hunter, and their own other series, Darksiders. I have a question. Where the ♥♥♥♥ was the inspiration exactly? In particular with Monster Hunter and Darksiders, I've played both series extensively and I don't see elements from either seri…

Good game...pretty tough,..but still enjoyable :)

one of the worst claimed souls like I played in my life till now, entire game is just monotone ♥♥♥♥♥♥ walking simualtor from same 2 assets and difficulty spike is needless to say a literal spike with no real benefit to pursue since its never enogh to let you do a satisfying run
