While people resent the new epidemic, more and more infected appear in hospitals.
Nick ran away from his home. The doors of insulator are closed to visitors, but it wont stop him. Nick is scared, but it's no turning back, he's determined to find his friend, his last close person.
Nick doesn't know what to expect inside, there were all sorts of rumors among him. Somebody says that the illness is turning humans into animals, somebody says that into plants, others thinks that all this is a lie of the state media. This place seems empty and dead when you first get inside. But if you pay enough attention to it's puzzles and riddles, it'll accept you as the most Dear Stranger.

Refuge For Troubles (RFT) is a 2D Point And Click adventure with Go And Talk elements. You can interact with the world through the cursor and Nick will follow your clicks.
The RFT story can be interpreted in different ways, any vision of the it is correct, because you can understand the plot in your own way. The events of the game can be taken literally and abstractly at the same time. We want you to feel the symbols and atmosphere, find the Refuge For your Troubles.

I wanna start off by saying that I was given this game for free for the purposes of creating content, but this will not influence my review. So to start I want to say that the art style is incredibly good. It immediately drew me into the world and multiple viewers were in love with the art style as well. Seriously it's a complete 10/10, great job on that. However, once we get into the world, that's where we hit some issues. I really do think a few minor tweaks of this game are going to do you guys wonders. So to start a lot of my viewers including myself were complaining about the loudness of the music, I appreciate the audio slider but it was incredibly loud, so maybe you guys should consider turning it down to start with? The next issue I have with the game is it's very unclear which items I can interact with in the world. In a point and click adventure that is incredibly frustrating. So what I suggest you do is add a dot, or a question mark, maybe an arrow to signify what you can interact with. Because I had multiple instances where I was wildly clicking trying to figure out what I can interact with, the entire thing was frustrating. I really wanted to like this game. The child-like artstyle is cute mixed with a dark tone which I like. But... it is difficult to progress. This turned from a short game to an unnecessarily long one. The cursor changes to a hand icon on almost every object making you think it's interactive but it's not. And the things you can click on, aren't usually helpful. The English translation is not great, but it did make me laugh. That could be a negative or a positive. I couldn't make it past a certain point and gave up due to lack of direction given. I know this is an old game, but I discovered it on accident and got excited about the aesthetic. I really hope it can be reworked on in the future. This could really be something amazing if alot of things were fixed and added. ♡
