A really nice atmospheric point & click horror game, set in a hospital where you play as a patient suffering from hallucinations. Some minor typos/translation errors but otherwise plays perfectly. I really liked the monochrome pixel art, it creates a fantastic atmosphere and is really creepy. The horror is psychological, some body horror, and a few jumpscares; it was definitely unnerving and effective, but never excessive. I can see some likely inspiration from Junji Ito. The gameplay is point & click to move between areas and interact with the environment with some limited inventory usage. There are a few standard puzzles that were intuitive and not too difficult. There are three endings depending on how you solve the puzzles, but once you figure out the order of events it's easy to go back and see them all. Definitely recommended, especially for the very reasonable price. 100% endings and achievements easily in under 3 hours. Thank you devs for a fantastic game! :)2 found this helpful
A short horror game with slight translation errors which was easily overlooked
All i can say about this game is it a proper old school point-and-click game. That i absolutely love. The puzzles were good and found myself confused at some points but that makes a great old school point-and-click game. I cant wait for this creator to make more awesome games :D ✔ Graphics (as shown) ✔ Story and character development ✗ Replay Value ✔ Background music
Pretty cool! English translation is pretty bad and in general the game doesn't provide much information aboout what you've got to do. uncommon these days but I enjoy that since it gives the vibe of oldfashioned point&click adventures. ♥ the art style and the whole look and feel of the game is exciting and fun. I had to play through all 3 endings in one go, because I wanted to see everything of this game. this is a short indie title - HoRrOr means bodyhorror in this case -, you should have proper expectations before jumping into it. give it a try!
Thumbs up just because it's a small indie game with a really cool art style and some genuinely creepy moments (not so much as in scary creep, but as in body-horror creepy: The hospital setting is definitely well used in this sense). However, it can be pretty obtuse at times, with things randomly changing after certain events, forcing you to navigate the same rooms over and over again to see what appeared/change/unlock. Granted, the setting is very compact with only a handful of rooms to explore, but it can get quite irritating. Duration is very short, finished it in around 2 hours getting stuck a few times. There are some logic puzzles, which I am not a fan of, but to each their own.
Nice spooky point and click adventure, Puzzles are pretty standard.
