About Regeria Hope Episode 1
Regeria Hope is a whimsical courtroom visual novel in the style of an Attorney game with original characters and cases. You play as Regeria, a female lawyer who can use her powers of logic and reason to prove her clients innocent.
It’s not all that straightforward though. Sometimes, you may find compelling reasons for throwing a case, forsaking the very defendant you are sworn to protect. These decisions will affect the outcome of the case and will have a ripple effect on later episodes of the series.
The first trial has you defending a husband whose wife has been poisoned during the wedding reception. Currently you have the ability to prepare your witness, and interrupt other characters while they are speaking, but be careful, as you have a time limit to solve the case!
KEY FEATURES:
5 episodes - Choices made in early episodes affect future cases. Don't like a character? You can throw them under the bus. Just be sure you're ready to watch them hang.
New 'Witness Prep' Gameplay - Prep your witness to say whatever you want. Have them plead for mercy, or make them look like buffoons in front of the court to throw the case faster.
New 'Fact Overload' Gameplay - Connect the facts together to bombard witnesses and force them to confess! You only get one shot though, so make it count!
New 'Investigation' Gameplay - Short investigation sections which will affect the courtroom scenes. Play a board game and move Regeria to where she needs to be in time!
New 'Convince the Jury' Gameplay - Be mindful of all your actions in court! Needlessly interrupting or repeating the same action over and over will change what the jury thinks of you, and you will need to state your case to the jury at the end of each daily court session.

The story follows lawyer Regeria, who defends her client in court, who is accused of poisoning his wife. Moreover, her longtime rival from the Academy is also on the prosecution's side. Whether our heroine wins this case or not depends on her future career. The story is written with a generous dose of banter and humor.5 found this helpful
This is a free Visual Novel about courtroom drama. You play as attorney Regeria Hope. This is her first case on her own, and it is a murder case. She is defending the accused murderer. For the most part, you just read the text on the screen, then click for the next text. On the right of the screen is a pop-out list of your case files. You can click on a piece of evidence in your files to present it. You always present a piece of evidence to prove somebody is lying, and never to prove they are telling the truth. Also on the right of your screen is a pop-out list of characters in the story. They are added as you meet them. You can click on them to read a sentence or two of info about them, but other than that there seems to be no purpose for that list. Speaking of useless lists... On the left of the screen is another pop-out list. This one mainly shows pointless comments from the judge about how hungry he is, and shows you pictures of food. At the beginning of the story, you get to pick 1 phrase ([i]out of 3[/i]) that Regeria will shout when she objects. Hearing her shout this phrase over and over quickly becomes quite annoying. It's a very neat way to have an Ace Attorney fix without all the blood and the black magic/esoteric cr*p If only the series were not abandoned. I don't know if they were, but from the silence in year, it seems so.1 found this helpful

Игра 'Regeria Hope Episode 1' - это неплохой старт для визуальной новеллы с интересным сеттингом, смешивающим фэнтези и стимпанк. Сюжет, хоть и развивается довольно медленно, успевает заинтриговать благодаря главному герою и его загадочной миссии. Рисовка персонажей и локаций приятная глазу, создавая атмосферу старинного города, полного тайн и интриг. Музыкальное сопровождение хорошо подходит к происходящему на экране, дополняя общую атмосферу повествования. Выбор реплик в диалогах ощущается значимым и, судя по всему, будет влиять на дальнейшее развитие сюжета, что добавляет реиграбельности. Однако, стоит отметить, что первая часть довольно короткая и служит, скорее, прологом к более масштабной истории. Хотелось бы увидеть больше информации о мире и его обитателях. В целом, игра оставляет приятное впечатление и вызывает желание узнать, что ждет главного героя в следующих эпизодах. Рекомендую любителям визуальных новелл, ценящим интересные сеттинги и неспешное повествование.
