Jisei is the first installment in 3 games long series. It’s an interesting murdery mystery Visual Novel with great backgrounds and characters designs. What’s also nice is the fact the characters are voiced and have interesting personalities. Given the series is divided into 3 installments, this one is short, but still worth the price. Characters in the game have various special abilities, which you learn about with progress of the story. As the main character you get to question people, examine rooms and so on. In a way you become an investigator. So the goal is to find clues and solve the mystery. And it’s enjoyable while doing so. I’d say anyone that enjoys murder mysteries should pick up this game (and other 2 from the series). It might be short, but it’s definitely worth it. I also played Jisei before it was released on Steam. Don’t remember if there ar emany differences, but you can check that version on Jisei playlist that’s on my YouTube channel.

Jisei is one of the first visual novels I ever played back in the day. It’s a well-written “whodunit” story about a mysterious guy waking up in a coffee shop. The English voice acting is very professional, and it really helps to bring these characters to life. Jisei is a good introduction and makes you want more. Don’t forget to play the epilogue – you’re in for a surprise!

This is quite s short novel to read, but its not affecting its other pros. I recommend. I like the characters design, music and a mystery. The controls were a bit unusual, but easy and quick to get used to. We still have quite a bunch of questions about this. It looks more like a 1st chapter of the story, instead of the whole store itself. And sure, there are a second and third part. I'm exited to play it. In general, its enjoyable, short and quite easy story with several endings. You need to solve a mysterious murder. We don't know anything about the main character, though. I like it to be more longer, with more details and more cases to solve. Recommend you to try it, if you want something not very difficult and enjoyable. If you want something difficult, with many characters and details - its not for you. But still, thats just my mind. Check it out for yourself.

Fairly short, but worth the price. As the included director's notes imply, the best murder mysteries are rarely solely about the killer or even the victim, and Jisei raises more than enough questions about its central cast (not least of all its secretive protagonist) to draw you further into the trilogy. Disregarding later entries and judging it solely on its own merits, it isn't the most complex mystery in the world, but it was still fun to untangle.

I remember playing this over 10 years ago through sakevisual's website and not on Steam, but I decided to play again today. I think it still holds up pretty well, even today. Even though it's a short visual novel, it's still interesting enough that you want to figure out who the murderer is.
