"Rift World" is a somewhat janky and unpolished FPS where you should what looks like a lot of "borrowed" stock assets, beacuse, I dunno, it's a shooter so shoot? The low quality low poly assets and janky gameplay serve to deter most gamers, as the SteamDB player counts show. Not every "free" game really is. There's often MTX, or content locked behind DLC, or donations being requested, or any other number of things that could mislead gamers, but in this case I'm glad to say this really does appear to be a fully free game. Nothing demonstrates a developers belief in themselves and their work than giving it away without any remuneration. This is a service to themselves, and the gaming idustry, and should be applauded. Of course, just because something is free, doesn't necessarily mean it's valuable. Even though this is "free", it failed to appeal to the 120 million+ gamers on Steam. SteamDB showed the game peaked at only 3 concurrent players... this is a dismal public reception, but it's easy to see why gamers rejected it. Она подкупает своим необычным визуальным стилем, напоминающим ожившую картину, и захватывающим сюжетом, полным загадок и неожиданных поворотов. Сражения в 'Rift World' динамичны и тактичны, требуют от игрока обдуманного подхода к выбору оружия и способностей. Система развития персонажа предлагает широкие возможности для кастомизации, позволяя создать уникального героя, подходящего под ваш стиль игры. Особо хочется отметить проработку мира игры. Каждый регион имеет свою уникальную атмосферу, культуру и флору с фауной. Исследовать локации интересно не только ради лута, но и ради погружения в лор. Квесты, как основные, так и побочные, часто отличаются нелинейностью и интересными решениями, заставляя задуматься о последствиях своих действий. Несмотря на некоторые технические шероховатости, 'Rift World' - это игра, которая цепляет с первых минут и не отпускает до самого финала. Рекомендую всем любителям приключений и необычных RPG.

Game was really fun, I wish there was more level and just more game in general because I had a great time. Hopefully the developer makes more games because this was a blast
