About RoBros
Introducing the first-ever strategic escort shooter where you plan your path before grabbing your gun! Gameplay is split in two phases: planning and execution. When planning, you map your route on a 2D map while using battery power as you plot your path. In the action phase, you race down winding corridors and gun down rogue robots that impede your path while protecting your charge from harm. The completion of each level is dependent on the cooperation of a robot duo as one provides the power while the other provides the protection.
\
A virus has spread throughout an automated robot assembly factory, causing the entire production of robots to go rogue. Two service robots BURT (Battery Utility Robot Transporter) and IRN-E (Industrial Reparative Net-Engineer) are the only ones unaffected by the virus. BURT is a moving battery robot who transports and supplies energy while IRN-E is a highly-functional maintenance robot. These two must work together by making use of their functions to gather any spare batteries strewn throughout the factory so they can fight their way out.

"RoBros" is one of literally thousands of student projects infesting Steam. It's from University of Utah in the USA. While student projects tend to be better quality than most "amateur" made games, we must still question what value such projects have for gamers. As with all student projects, this isn't really a fully fleshed out game, it's just the result of an academic exercise, and as such it has much more limited value as a game than a professionally developed game would have. Educational institutions should not be using Steam as a dumping ground for homework assignments (especially if the students didn't even pass the course). Sure, it helps their marketing and helps the students feel good about themselves, but this is another case of a business putting themselves before the needs of gamers. The students made a kind of basic "programming" sim puzzle game, a bit like LOGO I guess, you give commands on a 2D map then let the action play out realtime. The objective is to shoot a bunch of robots, I guess. The game is quite short, and only has three levels. The lack of content here makes it hard to suggest it's worth spending the time to add to your library and download. …1 found this helpful
