About Rockets, Planes, Soldiers

A relaxing board game based on the rock-paper-scissor logic, with turn-based strategy on a hex-grid. Very simple to start playing but can get really complex and deep. The maps are procedurally generated and you will never play the same map twice.

The basic logic always stays the same: Rocket beats Soldiers, Soldiers beats Plane and Plane beats Rockets, but you must decide on quick deploy units and attack or wait and accumulate resources before a strong push. There is also lots of upgrades that create another level of complexity as you progress into the campaign.

Cute little strategy game, easy to learn. Still needs polishing on the interface and some overall quality, but I'm really interested to see how this game grows.

Good game with procedural levels generated at each run, you will never play the same level twice, which is bad but also good, i will try to beat the campaign at hard mode

The game has a nice concept but the bugs kill it. Here are some highlights. You cannot win defense missions. Every 3rd mission or so is a defense mission. They are super easy and boring. But even if you win it counts as a loss and you lose the last tile you conquered on the campaign map. You cannot buy the soldier's veteran upgrade. Instead you can buy the evasion upgrade as often as you want, wasting upgrade points, and of course it will only count the first time. You cannot move less than the maximum number of steps your unit has, unless your only leftover move would be going back to the previous tile. With a soldier, if you move through the enemy base instead of onto it, you do not conquer it. If there is only one available tile left on the campaign map, it may become unclickable. Thankfully this is a bug with a workaround. You can still trigger the battle by moving the marker around on the map with the keyboard. My guess is this is a school project and the developer moved on without any real testing.

Somehow simple and complicated at the same time, works out well though. Game hasn't received many updates since release (definitely some polishing needed), but it's only been a few months so there could be a large update on the way

Still playing the game, strategy get more complex and the game gets harder, requieres a bit of planning, overall a good game for the price

A simple and fun game, just for relaxing and burn some brain cells while you wait for some other thing, it would be good on mobile
