About Rosie
Rosie is a horror adventure game that takes place inside multiple virtual pop-up books. You play as Rosie. A 6-year-old who lives with her family at the top of the hill of a small town. The townsfolk avoid the family, as they claim to see ghosts and demons. Rosie is starting to question this for herself. Help Rosie discover different paths she can take and decide her ultimate fate. Are ghosts and demons real? Or is it all in the family’s head? Decide for yourself as you unravel the mysteries of the world through quests and interactions.

Short adventure about a neglected girl who runs away, with charming visuals and simple exploration, but also slow pacing and minimal challenge. This is a story about a young girl named Rosie who lives in a house with her parents, a brother, and a sister. Nobody really seems to care about her, and all they do is yell, so she decides to run away to a nearby town where everyone appears happy. The presentation is nice because the game unfolds like a pop-up book. Each page represents a separate room where you can search for objects to interact with. Rosie can move freely around the room and jump. Objects are not named or marked, but when you get close enough they light up in a bright color, signaling that you can interact with them by pressing the interaction button. Each object has only one interaction, which is usually Rosie commenting with a single word or an image appearing in a speech bubble. Speed is not the game’s strongest quality, as you often have to wait a few seconds for speech bubbles to appear and disappear. I really like the pop-up book style of this game, reminded me a lot of older indie horror games, 9/10 from me, cute art style and good narrative2 found this helpful
Plz, there's nowhere to save. Also, there’s a softlock in the second scene: if I fill the bucket with water first, then go find the seeds, talk to Rosie’s dad, and then try to get water from the pond again, the game gets stuck/freeze. Because of this and nowhere to save.... restart1 found this helpful
I would like to say I enjoyed the game the style makes it enjoyable to play. I was relaxing and that what I came for. Visuals Nice to look at Play Easy to Normal Story Interesting , would like top get more in depth to why she wants to run away If you like pop up games like a story book you'll love this game , would enjoy seeing more games like this on th horizon.
