About Run On Home
Can you get this guy home safely after his Uber left him stranded in Murder City? This short story of horror and survival will have you shaking in your boots as you race your way home without getting caught by an evil Demon. Everything in this world wants this guy dead and it's up to you to help him reach his destination. In this game the player has to use their platforming skills to get this random guy home. You'll come across puzzles/obstacles, and hostiles that want to put you in the dirt. On top of all of that, the player must avoid capture from a demon named Blamo. There are many paths to the end and a total of 4 different endings.

"Run On Home" is a simple, low quality 2D platformer rendered with some really average 3D assets. It's short, more of a tech demo than anything else. This platformer has a comedy theme and a bit of narrative going for it... it's genuinely made, which is good, although the technical implementation is very weak. At least we know for sure this isn't an asset flip, the game assets are such poor quality no self-respecting asset creator would publish them. In terms of visuals, this features fairly low quality low poly 3D visuals which will deter a lot of gamers, understandably. Gaming is a visual medium, and while some developers struggle with creating high quality visuals, failing to do so is a disservice to gamers. It's very difficult to recommend bad looking games. Not every "free" game really is. There's often MTX, or content locked behind DLC, or donations being requested, or any other number of things that could mislead gamers, but in this case I'm glad to say this really does appear to be a fully free game.
