About Running Horror

You can’t fight the Beast. You can only RUN.

Running Horror is a first-person horror game that traps players in a vast, nightmarish labyrinth with a relentless, otherworldly pursuer. You’ve been caught in the aftermath of a miscast spell, and the only hope for escape lies in finding the scattered survivors who were drawn into the maze with you. Each of these motley characters holds a piece of the puzzle, and only by working through fear, disorientation, and dread can you piece together what went wrong and undo it.There are no weapons. No safe rooms. The only thing keeping you alive is your ability to move quickly and stay calm under pressure. The further you go, the closer the Beast gets, forcing you to balance exploration and urgency. Will you make it out before your sanity breaks... or the creature finds you?

A good demonstration of developer skills. Little to no bugs that I could see on my first play through. I hope to see more from these developers!!! The largest issue I had was the audio balancing felt off, most things were far too quiet i had to have my speakers turned all the way up!

I see this is an amateur project, so I'll start this of by saying to the dev: Good job, and keep it up! ...This kinda sucks... but it's great you made a game and put it out there! So please take this as constructive. The game looks pretty darn nice, and played just fine with no problems...I think? Most of the issues that made this unpleasant came from the monster and the sound. After initially entering the maze, I died in seconds without even seeing what killed me...so I tried again and realized what happened...the monster has almost no sound interaction at all. Occasionally it would gurgle when it was close, but not often...its footsteps were silent...and it moves WAY too fast and has a large kill window...I had no luck escaping it at all unless I was right next to a portal when I saw it...to top it off, when it sees you, your vision darkens, making it very difficult to see in front of you. [Is it supposed to have better sound interaction? I adjusted the settings all over the place thinking something was wrong, but got nothin'] Now, usually in games like this you have a little bit of planning room for an enemy, as if you listen carefully you can hear them before you see them,…
