About Sacred Gold
Battle through a massive open fantasy world as one of eight unique heroes, slaying hordes of monsters across 16 sprawling regions filled with quests and loot in this action-packed RPG trilogy. Sacred Gold bundles the original award-winning Sacred with two full expansions that add new areas, characters, weapons, and deep combat customization to create an expansive adventure.
SACRED GOLD is the complete SACRED collection in one box, containing the full version of SACRED, winner of the 'Best Roleplaying Game 2004' award from PC GAMER, Sacred Plus and Sacred Underworld.
SACRED - The new name in Action-RPGs. SACRED delivers a huge, elaborate world comprising 16 regions beset with heroic quests, battle-hardened warriors and horrific enemies. Ancaria consists of highly detailed landscapes, complete with villages and towns, and also features a day/night cycle with varying weather systems. Regions vary from forests and mountains to deserts, catacombs and ice-covered landmasses. More than three quarters of the world is open to the players from the very start - no unlocks needed.
SACRED Plus - Incorporates all of the feedback from the player community since the first release of SACRED. This includes an optimized interface, and many completely new features: two new regions, two additional main quests, new item sets and weapons, and many new creature types which make adventuring in Ancaria even more dangerous.
SACRED Underworld - Ancaria is facing a threat far greater than ever before. The now familiar world continues to evolve, with existing SACRED players able to import their old characters into the Underworld.
- Choose from eight heroic characters: Gladiator, Seraphim, Battlemage, Wood Elf, Vampiress, Daemon, and Dwarf.
- Hundreds of unique weapons, armors and set items - collect artifacts and forge all-powerful weapons!
- Learn Combat Arts, develop new skills, and customize devastating combo-attacks.
- A huge world open to explore from the outset.
- An epic RPG and enthralling storyline with over 30 main quests & 200 sub-quests and dynamic quests.

Is a great game still one the best even in 2026, and it is so much better than Sacred 2. However It took me forever to get Sacred Gold to work without any mods, but all you have to do is open the Scared Gold "Config.exe" and select in there Video Compatibility Mode, unless you want to play the game in true Fullscreen then you will need the PureHD Mod.4 found this helpful
I have played this game since I was a little boy. I have always absolutely loved it. I used to play with my family for game night, I love jumping in after all these years and playing for hours still. Brings back so many memories, and is so good to chill and grind loosing track of time. Even though it's um..... well quite old at this point, it still holds up and is 100% worth playing today. Just keep in mind its not a 2026 game, and I think that's part of why I love it so much.3 found this helpful
Randomly came across this and it's so fun. Feels basically like a Diablo 1/Diablo 2 just with way more stuff, features, etc. Greatly enjoying it and compared to other old games doesn't feel annoying because of some odd mechanic. Also the world mixed with some humor and some extreme drama and edgyness feel fun, fresh and nostalgic. So certainly worth the price.
There is no game quite like Sacred Gold. I have so many memories playing it when I was younger on the family PC. Open world, insane amount of lore and world building and so many easter eggs! Seriously, so underrated and if you like dungeon crawlers I highly reccomend. Diablo 2 is the only other game that has the same vibes.
Love it.
I enjoyed this game. I did. It had it's moments. But, by the by... it's one of the most frustrating experiences I've ever had in video games! And I don't just mean by a technical standpoint. Just the design choices and way that it plays sometimes is maddening. First off, the technical side of things. To start, it barely ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ works. You have to do stupid ♥♥♥♥ just to get it to run and not immediately freeze on the first load screen. Once you're in the game and playing, it's stuck at really low resolution unless you do more stupid ♥♥♥♥ outside of the game. A portion of quests are just outright broken and bugged if you do them a wrong way, making them impossible to complete. And if you have more than half a dozen enemies on screen, it starts to run like you've got ray-tracing turned on at max draw distance. In other words, it doesn't work and runs like ♥♥♥♥ half the time! Now, on the less technical side, there are so many nitpicks that really add up to make this a frustrating and annoying experience, especially after 50+ hours. There are enemies absolutely everywhere in this game. Not even the towns are safe! I know that some people view that as a positive feature but w…
