Sacred 2 Gold

The game is great, but for 1 huge issue. It freezes after a while. No warning. Only freezes. There is a patch that fixes it, but i dont want to install it from that nexus site. Cant Steam incorporate that patch in their update? If it gets fixed, Sacred 2 is a 8 out of 10 game

The game itself is awesome, truly a classic. The Steam version is very unstable unfortunately, and this has caused me a lot of progress loss despite regular saving.

I had purchased the Sacred 2 Remaster thinking that was what I needed to be able to play Sacred 2 on my modern PC, but that was a mistake the Remaster version would not even load the game of Sacred 2 at all, so I looked online and found a fix for Sacred 2 Gold that I already owned and now it works fine on my Windows 11 laptop, tried doing the same thing to the Remaster version and it still did not work. Long story short if Sacred 2 Gold isn't working on your modern machine look online and find the fix. Do not buy the Remastered Version on here because it may not even work at all. Pros: You can fight while mounted, that's very cool. Interesting classes and skills. Reasonably stable multiplayer. Cons: The worst game camera ever, it's simply catastrophically awful. Probably the worst character controls in any game I've ever played too. No strafe and no way to rotate your character using the keyboard. Tap forward and you move a long way, there is no "take a step". Awkward targeting and hit boxes, making some combat arts almost unreliable - especially if you're up or down slope which by the way the camera does not take into account so it's not unusual to only be able to see about a mounts length in front of you while riding around. Poor level design, in every aspect. Enter a cave you'll be ambushed, guaranteed, sometimes (rarely) fatally with nothing you can do, appear and dead <0.5s later. Navigation both overland or underground is very difficult, the map and minimap and quest objective system are poorly designed and implemented. There is no way to quick move something from inventory to stash or the other way. got the steam version of sacred 2, since i don't have a PS anymore, sacred is one of my alltime favorite games what i love about sacred is the exploring and the world, details and the character designs <3 the seraphim was always my to-go, in sacred 1 and in sacred 2, but now i try a another class (dragon mage) and the game is still fun and lovely to me <3 i can relax so much when playing this game.
