About what you'd expect. Some jank, some bugs—both old and new. For the most part, the controller support works surprisingly well. The trigger warning for the modern audience is pathetic and reads like an apology. I wonder whether the decision to not remove, alter, or censor any content came from conviction or sheer laziness. Either way, this game has nothing to be ashamed of... other than its 20-year-old bugs.1 found this helpful
This is just a bad remaster, nothing is fixed, I would say game is even worst now.
This game is great. I played on xbox but I play on pc more so I bought it through steam. I will add that the reviews put me off. The reviews for the remaster arent great, people complaining yet the reviews for the gold version seem to be way more positive, with the top review being a run through on how to get the game to work. I tried both versions and for me, this version is far better. Mainly because it allows the use of a controller. The other version doesn't. The other version also crashed and has no achievements. I'll start with the positive: -Full rotation of camera whenever you want and as you zoom in, it kinda makes the game seem like a third person type game. -Each class has their own variety of armours and skills. -In the character select screen you can choose whether you be a goody two shoes or a baddie. -Big map. -good sound design. -many quests. -freedom to go where ever you want right from the get go. Not locked into a path or anything. -Good enemy variety. -Good weapon variety. Cons: -some graphical glitches like a grey wall in the middle of a dungeon that I can't see behind (only happened once and it also dissapeared once I stepped past it). -I…
After playing this game you will need emotional support. The remake is a cash grab but still: Sacred 2 is part of the oldies and goodies and should be in everyones Library... when on sale
i love how i have a beast computer and it put it under 4k. so i turned it down to 1920x1080, to get less gpu needs under less or soemthing. less of percent. and worse graphics makes more sense a little. im happy with the game so far. i played it a lot before the remaster. pretty sweet single player game if your older. and probably already like sacred.
