Sacred 3 is an absolute masterpiece. The art and environments are jaw-droppingly beautiful at AAA+ quality, from wildlife flying off bridges as you stroll by to full-on volcanic eruptions. The lighting is superb and its world is a beauty to behold, along with its 2D cutscenes, which are a masterclass in authenticity, accompanied by fun, fluent, rock-solid combat mechanics, an interesting, diverse array of playable characters, and a well-written, enjoyable story. It may not be the Sacred that fans wanted, but other than made-up word-salad opinions that hold no water, there is absolutely nothing evidently bad about Sacred 3 as a game; it's quite the opposite. If you want a solid AAA+ hack-and-slash experience with online co-op, then Sacred 3 is an absolute blast. Twelve years on, this title looks nothing short of stunning, and it's a testament to the effort, skill, and expertise the artists at Keen Games and Plaion poured into this project; I'm more than comfortable defending this one! 8.2/10 At the Steam price of just £14.99 for the Gold Edition, which includes all of the story expansions and DLC, this title is a steal that's worth every penny in my opinion.7 found this helpful
not sure why I didnt read the reviews first.. my mistake. really bad game.. should NOT be called 'sacred'... nothing like it! devs should be crucified for calling it that. but even as a 'stand alone' game, its not good. skills, gameplay, scenarios.. all stupid and NOT fun. why anyone would rate this as a positive I have no idea. AND you keep getting stuck in the environment.. especially near chests.. no way to get out so have to repeat the whole episode again.. had it multiple times before I gave up on this stupid game5 found this helpful
Played it with my son in local-coop and it was somewhat playable but the annoying banter, linear missions, stupid upgrade systems and confusing map sums it up to: not recommended!5 found this helpful
Ok... the first 2 games don't work, and this is just a joke. Really bad. Waste of money, no refunds possible, as I bought these years ago.5 found this helpful

It doesn't feel like a Sacred game. It runs well on modern PCs, but everything about it feels a bit off to me.
