SACRED - The new name in Action-RPGs. SACRED delivers a huge, elaborate world comprising 16 regions beset with heroic quests, battle-hardened warriors and horrific enemies. Ancaria consists of highly detailed landscapes, complete with villages and towns, and also features a day/night cycle with varying weather systems. Regions vary from forests and mountains to deserts, catacombs and ice-covered landmasses. More than three quarters of the world is open to the players from the very start - no unlocks needed.
SACRED Plus - Incorporates all of the feedback from the player community since the first release of SACRED. This includes an optimized interface, and many completely new features: two new regions, two additional main quests, new item sets and weapons, and many new creature types which make adventuring in Ancaria even more dangerous.

This games really cool but the issue is its very very punishing to new players. Its so easy to brick a character and there is no fixing it you could spend hours and ♥♥♥♥ one thing up to bad time to reroll. I could write a book about this but forget that the fact is without knowing deep theory on this game before you play it does not feel good. The game really should have had a built in respec like diablo and other games. There is also bug abuse i found if you logout @ vendor and log back in the items refresh so it just turned into a relog session over and over to find the right items. Not to mention the whole trying to figure out how to make the game multiplayer for bigger mob pack sizes AKA ( OverFlow) and gear. The game was almost perfect otherwise its a shame......1 found this helpful
Classic ARPG. You get to choose different characters with diff play---NOT REALLY JUST GO PICK DWARF AND BONK EVERYBODY. True it's old, but the good thing about old games is they demand lower specs than your modern top-down ARPGs, and yet it still looks good. Wish it had a remaster like Diablo 2, but the original developers are long gone to fix certain game balance issues like why are there no buffer towns in the Underworld expansion to take potion breaks, or WTF IS WRONG WITH THE NUK-NUKS AND KILLING PLAYERS WITH THROWING WEAPONS?! Other than that, solid gameplay, spent hours years ago and still am spending it right now, esp with a crispier graphics. Some funny plots and puns here and there. Checked the gravestones and have some bit of laughs. So yes, a must try.

It is old but it checks. If anyone needs help to make the game run on newer versions let me know
Maybe it's my nostalgia but it's still fun and addicting. Tech is outdated and sometimes annoying, hoping for a remaster.
