STORY
The town of Prefield was once a bustling hub, built to support the nearby mines and the promise of rich mineral resources. Over time, though, the mines ran dry, and the town began to fade. Families left in search of better opportunities, leading to a slow socioeconomic decline.What was once a lively community turned into a ghost town, notorious for marauders and scavengers who now roamed the area in search of a fortune. Prefield became a place where few dared to stay, except for those who had nowhere else to go — squatters and the homeless found shelter in the abandoned houses.You take on the role of a scavenger, looking for valuable items hidden away in the remnants of Prefield. One building stands out to you: an old two-story country house that seems to hold something worthwhile. Surprisingly scary horror game. The extreme darkness combined with the really slow flashlight creates a very uncomfortable atmosphere and makes you constantly feel like something could be standing behind you. The sound design is also really good and does a great job at making the whole experience even more unsettling.2 found this helpful

Scauage is a quick indie horror game where you play as a scavenger exploring an abandoned house, hunting for valuables with a small flashlight you will also start uncovering the house's dark secrets. I completed two full playthroughs and all the achievements in less than an hour, so it’s very short game. I appreciated that there were no jump scares at all. The game instead builds a consistently tense atmosphere that kept me on edge the whole time. The graphics are fine (nothing extraordinary), and the story is okay, but overall it was an enjoyable little experience. It’s the kind of game you can finish in one sitting when you’re in the mood for something creepy but not too long or overwhelming. If you’re looking for a brief, atmospheric horror title with good replay value for achievements and multiple endings, this one delivers. Do not waste your time. If this game was a single cent it would cost too much.
Honestly forgot what the game was about, o well I completed it so imma recommend it if you look for a short game
You know it's bad when you have to look at a guide to know exactly what you are even supposed to do.
