Wield any combination of four weapons and equipment. Fire missiles and plasma torpedoes, get up close and personal with the Scattershot, or zap enemies with Chain Lightning. This is such a cool game! It's easy to pick up and a great way to unwind. Plus it can get really difficult but in a good way, the learning curve isn't super steep, and it's satisfying. The graphics are crisp and bright, very visually appealing. For the price this game is awesome.8 found this helpful
This game is like Robotron where you move like a person from a top-down perspective instead Asteroids. Yes, there are asteroids in the game, but they function more like cover that can hurt you a little bit when bumping into them. There's no inertia to account for and I don't see why having an option to destroy asteroids is an option when weapons also do damage to them. The weapons are okay, but can stand to be improved. Because the laser has no charge time, it effectively functions as a better autocannon. The scattershot is more like an inaccurate autocannon instead of a shotgun spread. The plasma torpedo is visually underwhelming for what it does. It hits one target hard, but it's a not as good as the chain lightning gun as a power-based weapon. It's a good game that I think can be charged at $5 retail.2 found this helpful
