About Centauri Sector
Centauri Sector is a tactical, space combat game that combines several gameplay elements effectively to create an addicting game. You assume the role of a fleet commander, starting out with a basic corvette class ship, tasked with defending the Tabula Rasa system from constant space pirate attacks. The main campaign plays in turns, as players move their ship or fleet once per turn before engaging in the tactical battles.
After each successful mission, players gain prestige (money/credits) and experience, to level up and unlock skills like speed boosts, shield upgrades and more. The level ups also allow fleet slots to add ships to a squad. Not only can different ship types be added, but each ship has different weapon and module slots depending on the class. Players can also purchase and add modules that increase shield capacity, buffer a weapon’s overheating rate, and speed up engines.

Interesting little game, it takes some time to get used to the handling of the ships but the Tower defense part is quite nice. I like the art style and the missions, because they are easy to pick up and complete. So far so good I am a Lieutenant. Mama come see me command ships!2 found this helpful
It was fun at the beginning but you quickly buy up all the store has to offer. So upgrading your ship is limited The base defense missions are not that good and a distraction from the space combat This is not compatible with cheat engine so major minus points for that No difficulty levels too1 found this helpful
This game falls neatly under "deceptively simple" - I haven't played anything like it, so I don't really have a frame of reference. I would say that everything you do involves strategy. Employ the strategy correctly and you win. A few observations - Audio: The music will make same men mad and mad men sane. Turn it off... the rest is okay - Graphics: Artistically cohesive, I have definitely seen worse - Ship customization: Very bare-bones - The 4 tower defense sections feel out of place - Replayability: Once you've won, I see no reason to play again There are free games with way more content, which is why I can't recommend this.
