About Sensorium

As lightning flashes overhead, you're transported to a strange, abandoned, yet oddly familiar world, surrounded by puzzles that revolve around the 5 senses: touch, taste, sight, smell, and hearing. With no indication of where to go or what to do, you have no choice but to explore, solve puzzles, and try to find a way home.

Staying true to the Myst-vania genre, nothing in the game is outright explained to you; a big part of the game is about exploring, learning, and piecing together clues about what's going on and how everything works.

Gives me really bad simulator sickness, despite all the fiddling with settings I tried. Be warned if you are susceptible fot that.

In a lot of ways it's a fairly good puzzle game. Some puzzles I remember really enjoying, some I didn't like the design of too much, I think the sound puzzles were usually my least favorite. Maybe an overall rating of like 7/10 is fair. However, outside of it being 7/10 it's also one of only two games which gave me motion sickness, the other being The Witness. The game wasn't quite good enough to be worth dealing with the motion sickness so I quit before finishing all the secrets/puzzles.

If you need more The Witness and Antichamber, play it! Easier and shorter than those, though the difficulty is a bit variable and some of the sound puzzles are a bit too subtle. The post-completion puzzles are worthwhile though a few of the scavenger hunt locations are a bit too obscure.

Videogames are audiovisual so senses are just themes though experienced by the character What's tested in the end is logic at times patience but overall nice See the puzzles Touch the puzzles Taste the puzzles Hear the puzzles Sniff the puzzles

Probably the best "Witness-like" I've played so far
