Game isn't Perfect but is good at what it is. Puzzles are fairly challenging and fun. It made me realize what senses I have not trained much 😅.

I think my biggest gripe with this game is the performance. Alt tabbing keeps bringing up either the options menu, or a black screen as an inbetween/extra window. And alt tabbing is an absolute must for this game. I messed around with the settings to no avail. The absolute worst was the dozen times the game crashed my video card (which I've never seen nor thought possible in my decades of PC gaming), forcing me to reset my PC. This would also happen when out of the game and alt+tabbing BACK into it, so the temperature should have been stable at that time, no?! And not like it's a super demanding, extra detailed, high-res, high-def game, I mean just look at the friggin screenshots, it's almost barebones. Few polygons. Much overheat. Many crash. 2 of the senses are heavily forced and feel fake, not fitting the theme, could have made a different overarching theme and bundled up those 2 with the other 3 categories/senses. This might have influenced my experience overall. The 'Simon says' puzzles felt cheap/uninspired and underwhelming, almost made me quit. Might not be the idea per se, but rather the execution. Had a few hiccups with Unreal crash errors until I ran the game in privileged mode and also had some issues where the first couple of Steam achievements only registered after reloading the game and after that, no achievements were registering. Nothing game breaking though. Overall a very good, but hard puzzle game.

Great concept, poor execution. This is a cute little puzzle game in which you explore 5 different types of puzzle design based on the five senses. And like any good puzzle game, you then combine them during the final phase of the game. Unfortunately, this game is bogged down by some very frustrating puzzle design choices. I have no problem with difficult puzzle games - Baba is You and Myst are two of my favorites. But the difficulty in a puzzle should come from the conceptual understanding - that 'aha' moment. If you're toiling away at a puzzle long after figuring out what you're supposed to do, then it's a poorly designed puzzle. And this game repeatedly creates difficulty through tedium and finicky execution rather than clever design. Despite studying music growing up (though admittedly out of practice) I found it quite difficult to memorize some of the 7+ note melodies which required you to combine pitch, timbre, and loudness. And there was at least one puzzle in which a valid solution is rejected because there are two different ways of inputting the same note.
