About Serpent Fusion
Serpent Fusion is a difficult puzzle game based on the classic game Snake where you grow by attaching boxes to your back, not by eating food. Additionally, you are not forced to move forward—you also gain the ability to stand still and move backwards. This allows you to stick to boxes by reversing into them, along with many other effects. In the latter half of the 60+ levels offered, three different colors of boxes and color checking gates are added, expanding the scope of the puzzles.
My brother Kepler provided the sound effects and music to my game—this was the first time his music was included in a bigger project.

Serpent Fusion is a refreshingly unique puzzle game. The game concept, to try explain it simply, is a hybrid of a turn based "Snake/Tron" game and the old 1990's Flash game, Sokoban. Like Snake, you're presented with a 2D grid level, but instead of being an action game, it's a step/turn/move based structure like Sokoban. You move your Snake around the game grid to get to the exit. Easy, right? The challenge and puzzle element kicks in where some grid squares are "water" and if your snake is not touching the ground, it will sink... and of course, the exits are usually behind a certain length of water. So you need to grow your snake long enough to reach... and of course the "food" that grows your snake is dotted around in places where you'll have to carefully plan each step to collect them all. Hopefully this explanation can help gamers understand what the game is all about, because it's a very novel idea and has a lot of potential... but not as a PC game. This feels very much like a Java/Flash/Browser/Mobile puzzle game and not a PC game. There's a simplistic/minimalist 2D top down view, no nice interesting graphics or anything. Необходимо просчитывать каждый ход, чтобы не только освободить игровое поле, но и создать самые мощные комбинации. Особенно радует разнообразие уровней: от медитативных, где можно расслабиться, до по-настоящему зубодробительных, заставляющих мозг работать на полную. Графика приятно удивляет своей минималистичностью и чистотой, а интуитивно понятный интерфейс позволяет сразу же приступить к игре, не отвлекаясь на долгие настройки. 'Serpent Fusion' — это идеальный способ провести время, тренируя логику и получая при этом массу удовольствия. Отличная игра, которая затягивает и не отпускает!
