About BederSNAKE
BederSNAKE — Puzzle Strategy with a Twist!Dive into a fresh take on classic snake gameplay paired with strategic challenges! BederSNAKE is a minimalist, top-down logic puzzler where the snake’s mouth sits on its tail—so every move risks looping into a dead end and trapping you across 284 brain-teasing levels.
- Sokoban with a twist – your tail-mouth blocks routes yet unlocks them; planning around it is the whole challenge.
- Difficulty that scales – ten gentle tutorial stages ease you in before the real brain-benders hit (optional hints if you get stuck).
- Demo progress carries over – clear the 20-level demo and pick up right where you left off in the full game.

I love it when 80´s Games are coming back to Life in todays Ocean of Games. And i really love it, when the Gaming concept is expanded to something new. Like here. Welcome to BederSNAKE! Once there was Snake. You are playing a Snake Eating apples. But with each Apple the Snake was going to be longer and longer. That made the Playing Ground smaller and smaller. And when you hit yourself, you loose. Simple but very addicting. https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3562073602 So, when we take the SNAKE Game and mix it with the SOKOBAN Genre you have BederSNAKE. Oh and another interesting take on the Genre, the Eating Snakehead is your Tail. BederSNAKE is a clever Little Game. Easy to learn, but hard to master. https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3562073114 The Levels are optical Sokoban Style. Instead of moving Things, you have to eat all apples in the Level. And with each Level it really goes much more tricky. But you can earn Coins to get Hints for each Level. If you cant beat it, you can buy a Levelhint Video that Shows you how to win. The first 10 Levels are Tutorial and here are the Hints for free. Later you have to pay for it. https://stea…9 found this helpful
Clever games curator review: 7.5/10 A really fresh take on the growing snake puzzle genre, with a somewhat bland presentation. What’s new: in this game you eat with your tail! This means that you can move backwards, however you can’t steer your tail; it only moves in the direction that it faces unlike your head which can be steered like a normal snake game. The first few levels were a joy, while I was learning all of the implications of this new mechanic. However after about 20 levels I think I had learned most of what there was to know about it, but all that followed was more of the same, except with slightly longer trains of moves needed to collect all the apples. Still it was fun enough, as the difficulty curve was reasonably gentle but detectable. At level 38 things turned much harder. This is not because of any drastic change in gameplay, but because the sequence of optimal moves is regularly 60 or more at this point (and my average was closer to 80). This is getting to be kind of a lot, and I wouldn't have minded some new mechanics rather than just more and more steps. Luckily, the devs have implemented full und…2 found this helpful
A puzzle game where you guide a snake to eat apples and grow longer, best enjoyed in short sessions or breaks due to no stage select or unlockables. The objective of this puzzle game is to guide a snake to eat all the apples on the board. The snake has eyes at one end and a mouth at the other. To eat an apple, you must position the snake so that its mouth is directly facing the apple from one square away. Once aligned, pressing the action button makes the mouth chomp the apple, adding one square to the snake’s length. The mouth can’t bite diagonally, so simply being near an apple isn’t enough if it isn’t facing the right direction. Each puzzle is arranged in a grid of squares, and you move the snake by sliding its eye end one square at a time. The snake can move backward or around corners as long as there’s space, but if its body stretches across an entire row or column with no room to maneuver, you’re stuck. This can happen quickly, and with no undo option, it can feel frustrating. A stage is complete once all apples are eaten. While you can aim to finish a level in the minimum number of moves (revealed only after you clear it), there’s no actual reward for doing so. You do ear…2 found this helpful
As soon as I started livestreaming the game — chat and I were LOSING it. Bedersnake is that perfect mix of “cute little serpent friend” and “why are you eating the apple with your butt?” The art style? Peak cozy-creepy. The gameplay? Addictive enough that I kept saying “last run” and then played five more, and chat had fun helping out with the moves as well. If you love games that make you laugh at your own mistakes while still pulling you back in for redemption, this is so worth grabbing.
