I like this game, it's silly and tricking the AI feels rewarding, and even though it can get really difficult, I haven't come across an unwinnable run. That being said, there are 2 big things I think would improve the game dramatically: 1. Adjustable difficulty - The devil is stubborn and a tough nut to crack, and this is the part I like. The angel, however, will more often than not say the word totally unprompted. In one instance, all it took was me saying "Hi." and she responded with "Why do I keep thinking: (Code word)" effectively eliminating herself. The friends I suggest this too also find dealing with the devil to be a bit too difficult. Having a range of difficulty options would fix the issue between these two extremes. 2. The ability to clear chat logs from the menu. My first conversation in the game was about the game's soundtrack and almost without fail, the soundtrack will work its way into the conversation, even when I don't mention it. The game seems to fall back to some stored memory at a point, and it will slowly veer things off the rails, making it more difficult than needed. Game's broken with the new update. My mic turns green when I talk and they look at me but never respond, and the logs show nothing for the conversation. Also reconnecting causes a fatal error. I tried with my ROG ALLY's built in mic and Astro A10's. Switched inputs on steam and in-game. Even if it did work it's good for about an hour of entertainment.

Cool concept, worth the price

It’s a simple game, but surprisingly engaging. I had played something similar on Google AI Studio, so I wanted to try a more complete version. What stood out to me is how you actually have to develop strategies to get the “bad” one to break. In my playthrough, he even named himself Archon (not sure if that’s the same for everyone), which made it more memorable. I’d recommend trying to break him first unless you find a clever workaround to make him say the word. Otherwise, he’s extremely stubborn. There are multiple strategies, and even after the word is revealed, you can still win if you adapt. Figuring that out is part of the fun, so I won’t spoil too much. If you’re looking for a simple but interesting guessing-game experiment that can occasionally frustrate you, it’s definitely worth trying.

You can beat the game in 10 minutes and have seen everything it has to offer.

The first of its kind to use AI AND your own voice in a single player game. You can tell it's a labor of love because ChatGPT and ElevenLabs (currently the best voice generator out there) aren't free and the game is dirt cheap. Wish I could donate more to the devs to support further development. Hopefully Outdoor Devs get some investors so we get more of this!
