Strange Aeons is a 1-1.5 hour experimental game available for both 2D screens and VR.
The followers of your cult are summoning you. You must escape this netherworld and reign in your rightful domain in the land of the living. Engage in a strange ritual by speaking with a mysterious Artificial Intelligence. Figure out why you were banished and cast out to hell in the first place.
There is no other way out.
Strange Aeons is a neural-net-AI, speech-to-text and text-to-speech powered experience. All of this works offline, without a back-end server or internet connectivity.

AI is dumb as a boot, wont respond anything interesting to custom chat and mishears half the words pronounced. Cool concept but left a "meh" feeling.4 found this helpful
First of all: voice recognition is sadly not the best. Thankfully a keyboard interface is also available for use at any time, but I would still recommend using voice for as far as your patience with it extends. Great little story that leaves you groping for answers until the last moment. Uses a very novel approach wherein you're allowed to explore abstract concepts and themes explored in the fully elucidated narrative before those answers are provided. This game looks incredible, and with the small price tag its worth giving it a shot. However, until the bug is fixed where the game crashes as soon as the white mask appears in the beginning for most people this is unplayable. edit ~~~ The dev was quick to answer my concerns and it looks like the bug is gone. I will now enjoy the gamne in full and I recommend this game for anyone who wants a trippy cool experience.1 found this helpful
