Short fun yet very rewarding platformer. Sightbringer has very nice dark gothic graphics and atmosphere with some odd feeling movement that some don't seem to care for but imo i like it i can't really explain why but it just feels right. Though the game is short with one level running at no more then a few min and a challenge level a little harder then the base game it feels more like a prologue to a much bigger game(which i would be up for) yet still worth your time.

Геймплей представляет собой смесь исследования локаций, решения головоломок и сражений с противниками. Боевая система простая, но эффективная, а разнообразие локаций и врагов не дает заскучать. Отдельно стоит отметить музыкальное сопровождение, которое идеально дополняет атмосферу игры и создает нужное настроение. Несмотря на небольшую продолжительность, 'Sightbringer' оставляет после себя приятное послевкусие. Это не шедевр, переворачивающий жанр, но добротно сделанное приключение, которое стоит потраченного времени. Любителям атмосферных игр и мрачных фэнтези определенно стоит обратить на неё внимание. Единственный минус - некоторая монотонность в середине игры, но это легко прощается за общую атмосферу и концовку.

"Sightbringer" is a student project from DigiPen who really should know better. Not to tell DigiPen how to teach students but one of the first things I'd teach them is that 2D gaming became obsolete 30 years ago when 3D accelerator cards became mainstream. Teaching students it's ok to make 2D retro platformers in the 3D era of games like Black Myth Wukong is akin to teaching them badly, on purpose, as a joke. If I went to DigiPen and got told the future of gaming is 2D platformers so that's what I'm going to learn to make, I'd demand my tuition back. What do you do in the game? Well, it's a lame 2D platformer where you control a bat girl thing and jump and glide around. It's a borefest. The game features really lacklustre 2D visuals (does the developer not know 3D graphics became mainstream in the mid-1990s?). Gamers don't spend thousands of dollars on gaming rigs and the latest 3D graphics cards to play 2D games. Even mobile phones and game consoles can do 3D graphics now. There's no excuse. You're forced to sign a highly questionable yet legally unenforceable End User License Agreement... for such a relatively low effort, low quality product, this comes across more as …
