About Sime Is Back 3D Old School
Sime Is Back 3D Old School is a retro-inspired action-platformer set against the picturesque backdrop of the Adriatic coast. Step into the worn-out boots of Sime, an old fisherman with a heart of gold, but one surprising flaw: he doesn't know how to swim!
Sime's simple life takes a turn for the worse when the greedy villagers, who only pretended to care about him, imprison his beloved cats after he decides to stop giving them free fish. Now, Sime must embark on a daring adventure to rescue his feline friends and take back what's his!
Armed with nothing but his fish, Sime turns the tables on his captors in the most hilarious way possible. Using fish as his melee weapon, he slaps enemies out of his way, smashes through obstacles, and clears paths as he navigates the treacherous landscape. Along the way, you'll guide Sime through a variety of challenging platforms, avoid tricky traps, and outsmart the cunning villagers who stand between him and his beloved cats.
Key Features
-Old-School Charm: Experience the nostalgia of classic platformers with modern 3D visuals, bringing the best of both worlds together.
-Fish-Slapping Combat: Wield Sime's signature weapon—a fish!—to slap enemies and break through obstacles with satisfying, old-school brawling action.
-Classic Platforming: Jump, dodge, and weave through a colorful 3D world filled with quirky obstacles and hidden secrets.
-Rescue Mission: Save Sime's cats from the clutches of the greedy villagers, each cat more adorable and eager to reunite with their owner.
-Whimsical Storyline: Enjoy a heartwarming yet comedic narrative about friendship, betrayal, and the lengths one man will go to for his cats.

✦ AI summary
Players praise the game's nostalgic appeal, excellent soundtrack reminiscent of classic platformers like Crash Bandicoot, charming cat-collecting mechanics, and fun absurdist humor like the fish-slapping combat. Common complaints center on the lack of controller support, inconsistent hitboxes that are particularly problematic during chase sequences, and an abrupt ending, though some players accept this as intentional design.

Sime comes from a parallel universe where videogames are better than what they are here (Bethesda doesn't exist)1 found this helpful
Great soundtrack, really reminds me of the good old times! I like the added environments and complexity compared to the first game1 found this helpful
