My boss is a frog?!

I applied for a job at Tadpole Incorporated as a "professional friend". Now they want me to go to a bunch of islands to help everyone I meet. If I don't prove myself, I'm out of a job! Luckily the folks around here are kind. Kind and a bit weird. Should I just enjoy island life while I'm here?

To clarify:
  • Yes, my boss eats bugs and stuff.
  • Yes, he does wear a tie.
  • Type of frog? A green one?
  • Everyone I meet seems to be some sort of animal. How did I end up here?

Sincerely,
Niko

How to be a professional friend

Hi, Pepper here. I'm an executive manager at Tadpole Inc.

A professional friend is someone who is a friend to everybody! And who occasionally gets paid. On your journey, you'll meet many creatures that need help. Help them with catching fish, making art, or by just listening to their worries. If you're lucky you'll get a coin. Invest your coins in the railways so you can travel to new islands. Before you know it you'll be doing big business!

Travel tips

In Here Comes Niko you'll be able to explore 6 different islands! Play on Hairball City's lovely beaches, take a stroll through Salmon Creek Forest's luscious mountain trail, swim at the public pool. It's time to unwind, don't you think?

Short but sweet game with a very cute art style. You play as Niko, who ran away from their home after an argument and is trying to get the job of a professional friend. The game is a semi-easy collectathon the game will take roughly 5-8 hours to complete (even if you go for 100%) The game does have it's issue tho, there are quite a few bugs (not game breaking) but they can be pretty annoying and I don't think the price tag of 24,50 is that worth it for such a short game. But that aside this game is pretty fun and very cute! Also Dutch developers which is always great. Dankjewel voor deze geweldige game! Final rating - 8/10

I received this game in a bundle deal and figured I would give it a try. It has become one of my comfort games and I can not stop telling people to give it a try! A hidden gem for sure!

These devs have never touched a controller and it shows

A great game with cozy vibes although for the length I wouldn't recommend getting it for full price, with the way the controls and movement feels you can definitely tell that the same team as A Hat in Time at least touched it

Very cute 7/10, but GOD A Hat In Time was one of the greatest games ever made and i miss the combat and difficulty from AHIT and im desperately waiting for a sequel or a spiritual successor that has the similar movement and world. I love the queer themes i just miss the intensity of Hat Kid🥹
