Super fun rhythm game, with insanely good music

obviously still in early access so not everything is polished but MAN this game is so fun once things get going. the tutorial threw a lot of stuff at me + new mechanics being added on took a while to get used to, but once you catch on it's one of the most interesting and enjoyable rhythm games i've seen in a while. the aesthetic, ui and music feel really nostalgic to me. i love this game and i so look forward to seeing it develop i found playing with a controller feels way easier than keyboard and mouse ^_^

MAN this game is awesome! I've only really played unbeatable in terms of other rhythm games that I got pretty good at, but this one is another level of satisfying once you get the hang of juggling all the mechanics. The central reeling mechanic is my favorite since it allows you to hit on beats/find timings on your own with your own sense of rhythm instead of hitting predetermined notes like unbeatable or a more traditional rhythm game. Not like it leaves that part out though! Other mechanics use that predetermined note-style so you really do get the best of both worlds here, hitting a sequence to the beat that you read and also using your own creativity to add onto the song with your reels its sooooooo cool! The reeling mechanics are piled on a little thick at the beginning there/sometimes thrown at you a little fast like that one negative reviewer said, but honestly if you can stick with the discomfort for just a little bit it gets suuuuuuuuuper satisfying! The one thing I'd say is a lot of the new mechanics after the basics are only explained to you [b] after [/b] you play through them for the first time, which i feel like the little tutorial blurb could be moved to right …

What an extremely fun and enjoyable rhythm game. There is a major issue I have, which is that this game is unplayable if you have an audio offset of more than 100 milliseconds. I like to play all of my games with headphones. However, it seems I can never catch the beats properly even when I attempt to calibrate the offset numerous times. I did not mind playing this game with my device speakers, though this may be a turn off for some players. This game has the most novel setup for a rhythm game I've experienced. Difficult at first due to having to multitask refilling a constantly depleting gauge and catching the notes. Though it becomes extremely fun once you find a balance between both core aspects of the rhythm game. When you familiarize yourself with these core aspects, the game introduces more gimmicks in later charts that keep the gameplay loop refreshing and engaging. As a person with experience in VSRGs and more linear scrolling rhythm games, this game left a great first impression of the non-linear, arcade-like subgenre. it's cute and fun, I'm honestly surprised it works so well considering it's a very unique rhythm game that's also doing a lot at the same time, but it all works out nicely. There's some pretty tough challenges to this game, yet it doesn't feel frustrating. I'm really excited to see more content be added! But for now, I think the price tag is definitely worth what's already in the game. It's already a well polished experience.
