I enjoy the character creation, 2006/frutiger aero references, and the post-rapture storyline. A change I would suggest is making it easier to increase my relationships with sinners. Right now, it's extremely difficult to where most of the sinners dislike or are neutral with the chief. This makes it impossible to propose as well T_T Besides this, this game is very fun and I highly recommend it!
This game has captivated me in a way no other game has in recent memory, when I got this game, all of the publicity around it was "Tomodachi Life but your Miis can kill each other". That is true, though it completely ignores the entire theming and premise of the game, which is a shame because I have completely fallen in love with it. Having the aftermath of the Christian rapture as a setting isn't explored in many games to my knowledge. This games offers a glimpse of what inserting ourselves, OCs, or our favorite fictional characters in very bleak world under the cozy nostalgia setting of mid 2000s Nintendo consoles. From my many hours playing it, I found it offers a unique commentary about how even in the darkest pit of hell with the most hopeless setting possible of having a god be real and being utterly abandoned by him, people will still find things to love and hold onto dearly. I find that to be very endearing, even if the developer had no intention of making that commentary.
This game is super fun. I love tomodachi life, and this gives me an enjoyable, darker experience. One thing that I would ask the developers to fix is the familial relationships. My brother has asked me out twice. If there was special interactions between family members, that would be cool as well. Again, I don't want my brother asking me out anymore -- haha. Maybe there could be preset relationships for spouses and significant others too. I wanted to make a couple that is together IRL, but they dislike each other in-game and there's no preset to make it so that they're in a relationship.
